Harrison Pass Road is a good quality dirt road. We have done it easily with our 25’ Airstream trailer.

It is a dirt and curvy road that is narrow in places. We drove the whole length in our pickup truck with no issues early in August. It is not recommended for trailers. While we would not take our 28' bumper tow over the pass, it could be done but you would be rounding blind corners and taking up the whole road and in a couple of places it drops off so you'd have to be very careful regarding others in the opposite direction. I don't see a problem for campers or sprinter vans. With our trailer we left South Ruby heading north towards Wells, NV (767 to 229 to 93), but we were first heading to Angel Creek Campground before heading to Elko. 767 is all dirt and was in good shape in August, though some have complained about washboard. Wasn't an issue for us.
