“$15 To Dump But Not Stay”

When we arrived they led us to a campsite and let us stay for an hour hooked up. We used this time to dump, flush and fill the tanks and even took showers. Looks like a nice campground to stay. Campsites are close together but same level and separated by nice fencing and big trees.

This is a perfect place for us to visit our daughter in nearby Tulsa as we basically sleep there and that’s it (as do most of the folks there). The sites are directly on top of each other. The showers are well maintained and it’s a great set up they’ve got. Really appreciated the shower and laundry facilities.

The only plus I can think of is how convenient you are to downtown Tulsa. Next time we will probably stay at expo center.

But I’ve never seen a park that had this many tight spaces. For the price, and passing through, stay. If long term look elsewhere.

When you arrive a big sign, gate, and friendly staff welcome you. The park is well maintained, landscaping looks nice. They offer free ice, cable, WiFi and a playground for your littles. The laundry room is very nice with 10 washers & dryers in very good condition, huge private bathrooms with nice showers, a sitting area with TV and vending machines. It’s close to everything in Tulsa, a block away from Historic Route 66. If you like craft beer there are several breweries to try out. While it’s close to city parks and all things Tulsa, we wouldn’t consider this park a vacation destination. It doesn’t have a pool or walking path. The sites are very close together. One night our neighbor sat outside visiting with someone and we could hear their conversation. It’s very close to the airport and I-244, so there is noise from both of those locations. Regular plane noise is barely noticeable, but the low flying military planes are loud during the day. The park is filled with long term workers in the area and people passing through. We chose this park because we wanted to be close to things downtown and needed good cell service to work for the week. It fit that bill perfectly. Overall, if we needed to be IN Tulsa again, we would stay here again.

We didn't want to pay $50 for a night, but this was so much closer than hauling into Tulsa from a COE campground elsewhere, and ended up being well worth it. Of course we had great Verizon coverage, the park loaned us a TV cable so we had a zillion stations rather than OTA. The overnighter spots are just parallel pull throughs, but we were separated from neighbor by a wooden privacy fence. No noise to speak of, a quick ride into central Tulsa and good wifi. We didn't use the showers, laundry or any physical amenity except the dog park, which was fine.

We enjoyed our 30 day stay at Mingo RV park. Our 5th wheel backed up to a large grass area leading to the creek. The sites are close together but the park is well managed and the staff and owner are very friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back.

CONS: Not really much to look at, most trailers/5th wheels here appear to be tenants (hard plumbing and large propane tanks), the southern side of the park is close to I-244 road noise. So like the Woods, in Montgomery, you're paying for convenience, not scenery so I'd stay here again.

The sites are pretty packed in - we can see that it used to have about half as many sites and they just filled in a lot of other ones. We were staying half the time and half the time at a family house, so it was no big deal. If you plan to sit outside a lot, the space is not so great.
The staff is VERY friendly!!
Overall - if you are going to Tulsa, this is probably the place to go. Enjoy!
