Working remotely, we needed a place to stop for one night with good ATT signal. This was a great choice. We got spot 22 near the river. We had to back in between several large trees. The site was shady and beautiful. Water/sewer hookups were on the wrong side. Our sewer hose wasn’t long enough, so we used the dump station on our way ou... more
Working remotely, we needed a place to stop for one night with good ATT signal. This was a great choice. We got spot 22 near the river. We had to back in between several large trees. The site was shady and beautiful. Water/sewer hookups were on the wrong side. Our sewer hose wasn’t long enough, so we used the dump station on our way out. We needed to stay for few hours past check out to finish up my work day. New people were coming in, so the staff told us we could stay in their parking lot for a few hours. It worked out perfectly. We asked if that’d be any trouble for them. Their response: “When you’re here, you’re family.”

Great little campground, but site A is definitely the best spot! Right on the river, very private, shady and spacious. Showers take quarters but were clean. Good cell signal with Verizon. Camp host welcomed us as we arrived and was very friendly and helpful.

Overall Rating
Sites level gravel and FHU have cement patios. Lots of room to maneuver big rigs. No landscaping to speak of but you have the natural beauty of the mountains. Small laundry worked well. Halfway between Butte and Helena. Grocery 6 miles away in Boulder. Able to stream with the WiFi.

A Passport America campground, so rate paid is half the normal rate for electric only. FHU was $32.
Great place to stop for an overnight. Friendly staff.
