Friendly staff but the bathrooms are not managed all night long even though they are open. Park would benefit from commercial size, toilet paper holders, and occupied locks on bathroom doors. We made the reservation for this park in February for memorial day weekend on a special deal advertise on Facebook my receipt did not match my confirmation by $100. I specifically requested a campsite near the bathroom since I am a disabled camper, when I called, it seemed the request had been honored. When I arrived they acted like they knew nothing about it. The Wi-Fi in this park is spotty if you want a good signal get it while the kids are in the pool between 10 AM and 4 PM after that you have to wait until the children go to bed around 11 PM. This is a decent park it’s unfortunate that it’s not being managed well, we won’t make a great effort to go back.

Lots of activities for kids during the summer months. Clean bathrooms and sites are level concrete pads although very close together. Unbelievable that for 8 pieces of wood it costs $14 and rules say no outside wood allowed. Some sites full hookups, some with cable, internet is slow and only 1 dump station.

We needed a spot quickly after an absolutely terrible experience at the nearby Detroit KOA (don’t go there). Harbortown got us in last minute. They were super friendly and helpful. The sites are level pavement. Decent wifi even though the place packed. All this for the same price as the KOA. Definitely check it out.

I had my eye on this campground for years and we finally decided to stay on our way back home from Cedar Point’s campground (which messed up our 4-night reservation and could only get us 2-nights)… so we were in a pickle and hurriedly searched for campgrounds on a Friday that could take us that day… Harbortown had availabilities and provided great service getting us a full hookup site at the last minute.
The place has paved roads, concrete pads, full hookups, a heated pool, nice buildings which are kept really clean, and a great playground with an enormous sandbox for the kids. Next door is an outdoor play land with putt putt, batting cages and go karts… so there was lots to do! The sites also had plenty of shade from mature trees, and a walking path that runs along a golf course on the other side of the facility.
I was originally a little concerned about the location because it’s close to the freeway, has railroad tracks along one side and there’s also some kind of correctional facility kiddy corner from the campground (but I think it was a transitionary facility and wasn’t even visible). But despite the freeway and railroad, we found it very peaceful and the abundant trees really did a good job at keeping down the noise to the point where we didn’t notice.
This campground was very affordable, and it seems like this campground attracts people with nice campers and equipment…. All the other guests we encountered were very pleasant and took great care to be respectful campers.

We averaged $35 / night for 3 nights for W/E30/I with our Passport America discount ($53 without). Our site was very spacious, sunny and on very level asphalt. There was sufficient room to park our toad and the interior roads were easy to navigate. Internet service was fair.
This campground is 18 miles north of Toledo and 35 miles south of Detroit just off I-75 in Monroe, MI. We visited the spectacular Edsel and Eleanor Ford home and Holocaust Memorial Center.

The retail (shopping ctr., McDonalds, Burger King) in the area are all closed up. Not sure if CoVid related or because the North ramp to get on Hwy 75 is shut down or other reasons but looked like it was once bustling and now kinda over grown and neglected. Very convenient Speedway gas station at entrance. Nice mini golf, go karts, batting cages, ice cream next door.
We used PA for two nights and stayed here to go to Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village. The $63/night is beyond what I like to pay but $50% off makes it work. My only disappointment was inability to use campground internet. Multiple places to connect but my i-phone, HP laptop and sons Galaxy S20 could not connect. Instead used AT&T with about 15mbps down.
Proximity to hwy is handy. Road noise and trains not a problem. Not an area where trains whistle.

Everyone we ran into was extremely friendly. Neighbors on all sides stopped to chat.
Just 2 of us, and we are in a class A, so everything we need is in the rig, thus we didn’t use amenities like bath houses or laundry although from the outside they look nice and it seems they clean them often.
121 is a pull thru. Plenty long enough for our 43’ rig and a toad. The sites are narrow, but we had plenty of room. Nice level cement slabs, grass is nice.

ESCORTED by POLICE for breaking their rug policy! They apparently have a policy that your rug must be moved daily so you don’t kill their grass but when we got there our yard was soggy and muddy so when the rug was not down mud was constantly being tracked in our camper. I was called and harassed by management almost on a daily basis about this rug deal and when I told them I needed it down too keep the mud out of my trailer they said that it wasn’t their problem. They called me at work with 4 hours notice saying I have too leave the property immediately! I told them my truck was in the shop this week and I can’t move it for a couple days and management or the cop did not care one bit about my situation or me and said if it’s not moved in the next hour my trailer would be towed an impounded! I’ve stayed at roughly 40 rv parks all around the country so far and this was the most poorly run and ignorant place I have ever stayed. Be careful and do not spend your hard earned money on an over priced lot with no sewage. Go elsewhere!
