“Tough motorhome leveling”

Most of the sites are seasonal, but some of the most friendly people we have encountered. Every seasonal person waived or said high as they went by the 8 "transient" sites that are packed alongside the campground. The transient sites during the week were not busy but became 100% full on the weekends. Very quiet at night during the week.
Our 40' motorhome was very difficult to level from end to end, using every piece of lumber we had on board.
Water is shared between sites and the Y adapter is not provided. 50-amp power was good. There are two sewer dump stations, but no sewer at the sites. Verizon was non-existent for data but voice service was fine. AT&T was OK but not amazing. I was able to work online with AT&T throughout the week without any issues. Over the air TV channels are scarce.
The roads into the campground are well paved but very narrow and if you aren't comfortable with that you probably should stay away. It is 13 minutes to La Plata where there are numerous "modern" services, so you are not very isolated from anything you might need.

“Great Location for Boaters”

We camped here with an RV and towed our boat. Super nice people, mostly long term sites, with 8 transient sites that are in a central location but pretty close together and open. The site near the pool is good because you have a large grass area next to you. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. Good boat ramp with slips. Water and electric, no sewage, but there is a pump out truck. Location on the Potomac is great for boaters. Bought a bushel of crabs right off of the boat from Mr. Joe. Many people have golf carts, but totally not necessary. Highly recommend for boaters, maybe not for others.

“It’s a trailer court”
Reviewed 5/28/2020
It’s not a campground but more like a trailer court. The reason I believe there is not any reviews of this place is because no one can camp there. It seems like a community of people who live there. We drove though to check it out and immediately felt the outsiders stares from the residents. We did not even give it consideration and left immediately. I’m sick and tired of trailer courts calling themselves a campground.
