With that said, we only had one other RV for a night during our stay so had the place ultimately to ourselves. According to signage that we had to search for you can stay up to 14 days.
Things to note: this is definitely a park where the locals go to drink beer and not clean up after themselves, so we did as much cleaning up after others as possible but would be an endless task of covering the entirety of the area. There are some trails that look like for mountain bikers but were very manageable on foot. The lake is super low and is good looking from afar but kind of nasty when you get closer to the banks.
One scary thing: about 1am one night a pick up truck pulled in and pointed themselves at our rig flashing their brights at us and blaring their horn for about 3 minutes, then they proceeded to do the same to the other RV neighbor that was here. Felt like someone coming home from the bar looking for a laugh, but wasn’t the wake up call we had hoped for.

The bathroom was unusable as of late September 2022. It really needs a good cleaning. It is also not near the campground at all, and would require a short drive or a long walk to access from the campsite.
There were a couple of other people camping, but a number of people using the day use area. There was a car that would go up and down the road and drive particularly slow by our campsite. The morning we left, this car went by 8 times. I'm not sure what was going on but it made me feel uneasy.

Stayed one night. Lake area was trashy and rest of campground could have been picked up better. Fairly quiet, could hear highway noise in the distance. They do have toilets. We would stay again.

Easy to find and not busy. I was the only camper. No facilities. Gravel sites. Most not level. Some local traffic going to the back of the park (not sure why).

Please leave no trace as we saw some debris on the ground. Dumpster onsite. Boat ramps nearby. No swimming, pets on leash per signage.

There was one other person when I arrived; he had left by dawn. The sign says there's a pay kiosk; I never saw one, and the web site says it's free. Consumer Cellular had two bars, and enough strength to use the phone as a wifi hot spot for the computer. Some sites did have washed out gullies between them and the loop road. Everything in the camping loop was very clean; around the boat ramp there was some trash - including a bench seat sitting in the water. Their map shows a pit toilet in the camping loop, but I only found one in the day use area; I'm self-contained, so that is not a problem for me. Kansas State Fishing Lakes are great; this is the third one at which I have stayed. Only one was close enough to a busy road so that there was traffic noise; most are quiet - although it probably helps that I come through off season!
