Overall Rating

Needed an overnight on a long haul and this place was open. Called ahead, she gave directions and said pick a spot, hookups or large open field, same price. Place was wide open, only about 6 others there. Pretty level, but we unhooked to be safe putting out the slides. Women's showers were cleaner than men's, as is usually the case. Didn't use, but would have been ok. Highway MT 200 coming from the east is AWFUL! A big section of it was gravel, like they'd torn the whole road out. Spent a lot of time that day going 35-45 mph. Even the paved sections were pretty bad, lots of dips and ruts. West of Lewistown not as bad. Easy access from Hwy. 200/US 87, about a mile up US 191.

Overall Rating

We were headed for an RV park when we noticed a couple of RVs at the fairgrounds. It was not shown in Campendium at that time. We pulled into the fairgrounds and asked. They said sure - they had 40 spots. The two trailers there were long term stays but very friendly. Otherwise we had the place to ourselves. The spots are grass and all have full hookups. The bathrooms have showers but are what I would call fairground quaint. We were able to walk our dogs in the large grassy areas without leashes. The setting was very nice and the grounds were very clean. I am sure they are all occupied when a fair or rodeo is on. At $38 it is alittle on the expensive side for a fairground but we felt it was worth it.
