The amount of people who appear to be staying here full time has increased dramatically since 2019…like people with window AC units and piles of tires in front of their rig. And they’re also driving around cars that are clearly not tow vehicles and kicking up dust everywhere. This really makes it feel like a mobile home park, not an RV “resort.”
The grounds outside of the RV park are very pretty. Good fenced in dog park area and a decent little lake to fish at. And like others have said, the gravel road and gravel in the RV park is a mess. I wouldn’t make this place a destination again.

“Indifferent staff. Dumpsters overflowing. Tight, open sites. Highway noise.”

Staff completely uninterested in transients. Had to ask for Wi-Fi code. Dumpsters were overflowing. Sites were open, tight together and a long way from the bathhouse. Changed our site three times before we arrived. Traffic on I70 roared by all night.

Not a resort by any means. Not big rig friendly either. Low hanging limbs on road we hit 4. Rough narrow gravel road to get to the place. Our rig and jeep were covered in white dust. After a long travel day this place was a huge disappointment.

Travel full time for work. Stayed five months last year. Four nights this week. Beautiful setting. Huge spaces, grounds kept very nice with lots of trees and flowers. Nice playgrounds for kids. Visited someone in a cabin, they are so nice, with lovely setting on a huge pond. Have been in 15+ campgrounds over past three years. This one is definitely on our list we would return to. Easy access, short gravel road and mostly gravel sites so some dust but I’ll take that anytime for the quiet and pretty setting

We stayed at Cedar Creek for a few weeks as we settled into our new 5th wheel for FT living. The property is beautiful, and has two lakes to fish, the larger with a pontoon boat and other fun toys available to use for free! Both us and our dogs took advantage of the great swimming.
Brook the camphost was super sweet and very attentive. Linda (who runs the place) was very accommodating from the beginning. She helped us find the perfect site twice (we traveled for one weekend and came back), and had no problem extending our reservation when we had a change of plans forcing us to stay close to town.
Staying on this beautiful property also supports an organization/group that provides jobs and mentoring to individuals who are differently abled, empowering them through opportunities to work at the resort. They really do seem like great people trying to make a positive impact in the world.
The sites are large enough to fit our 42ft 5th wheel with the garage door open, and truck parked in front. Most (if not all) had picnic benches and fire rings, and the host has a community fire going most nights. Width wise they could be wider, but they aren't too bad. Sotes are not completely level, but they were doable for us and many many large class As. Electricity was stable. Internet was great all but 3 nights across labor day weekend when the park full, but even then it wasn't bad (could still stream Netflix, but zoom video wasnt an option). Water quality was good, but we filter everything anyhow, and water pressure was great. Verizon had full signal.
We plan to stay there again on way back through next year!

Easy in and out for overnight while traveling cross-country. Can come in late and leave early as all check-in and pay is done via email. Easy access from interstate.

The RV park seems like an afterthought... a large gravel parking lot, no trees, and my view of the pond also included a broken down utility trailer. The folks were super friendly and helpful, which, other than location is why I'm giving it three stars. Really nice staff and host.

Rate reflects Good Sam Discount. Newer park. Great camp hosts. Off 70 (but a 1/2 mi. gravel road to the park). Didn’t like the street light over the rig at night, took away from the country sky and possible stars. Didn’t like the street light over the rig at night, took away from the country sky and possible stars. Pull thru’s are set up to be back to back if crowded (and numbered as such) so pull thru’s could be converted to back-ins. Utilities are really spaced out and could lead to shared water too. Not finished yet but expensive in comparison to other parks with much more established landscaping and amenities. We will try another campground next time.

Great location, only a few miles off I-70 in central Missouri; great property with nice ponds and views. Everything is brand new at the RV park, gorgeous restrooms and showers. Putting in concrete pads at sites, so should be nice when completed - but a work in progress on 4/1/19.
However, I believe that whoever designed the parking layout and hookups never stayed in an RV. Sort of pull through but back to back layout would require the second RV to arrive for a given slot to back in - not a show stopper. Having all your hookup 20 ft from the parking pad and in the neighbors living area is not optimal but again not a showstopper, just not ideal. It looks as though a fair number of the 200 series sites would require sewer hookups to run up hill - a real showstopper in my mind.
