Mueller is one of my favorite Colorado State Parks. There are several trails and picnic areas nearby. The campground is very well maintained, with showers available. Most campsites are large with electric and somewhat private, although some are better than others. I stayed at site #54, which i don't reccomend due to it sitting very close to...
Easy 5 miles south of 80 (10 min drive). 5 rigs already there on a Saturday eve so we parked up “top” (very small incline) to try and get (mostly) level. No signage but not much out here except a phosphorus plant on the hill.

There are about a dozen spots with 3 or 4 right on the lake. Number 9 where we did stay was dead level and the rest of the sites look the same. Our 24.1 fit with plenty of room to spare. If number 7 is available that is one I would pick in the future - it was occupied the first day we were here but it is about a perfect lake site spot....
If you’re looking for a simple. Clean and upscale park this is for you. Nice concrete level sites with Beautiful landscaping this is for you. I have no complaints. It’s a top tier place.
Great overnight! Stopped here in 2021 and have stayed several times since.Its fairly level gavel parking.Nice vault toilet also Picnic area with tables.3 blocks of paved road to access off the highway.
