"Super friendly Staff, Extremely Clean Facilities, Some Sites Are Pretty Tight - Big Rig Friendly"

We spent 3 nights here and would have stayed longer if we didn’t have reservations for Bryce Canyon to get to. Sites are assigned at reservation, we got lucky and ended up in B11 between two facility workers thus our site was decent sized for our... Read more

"A Really Nice Rural Setting Park"

Yes, you go through an industrial section of town to get to the park, but once you get here it’s an oasis right next to the river. WiFi at our site worked great. Bathhouse was clean and modern. Lots of hot water. Staff was super friendly. Our pull... Read more

"A Nice, In Town Park"

Lots of big trees. Very friendly staff and very accommodating. Our pull through had FHU’s that were conveniently located. Site was quite level and paved. We heard a little traffic noise, but it wasn’t bad. Bathhouses were clean. Office staff told... Read more

"Overnight Stop Before Death Valley, Big Rig Friendly"

38’ with TOAD, had to disconnect to navigate roads/turns to get to our site. Good overnight stay, quiet and no issues with hook ups. Bad news was exits are tight and we damaged our rig on a large rock while making our exit, very frustrating.

"Good Overnight Stop Before Grand Canyon"

We arrived after a 3” snowfall the previous night so things were a bit muddy with large puddles on the grounds (not anyone’s fault). We had plenty of room in our 38’ Super C with toad, no need to unhook for the night (huge plus!). Lots of area... Read more

"Nice park, well run"

• Site was fairly level. They guide you in. I had to wait for the escort to leave so I could position my rig properly. • No cable TV, No air channels. • Very big campground, very spacious sites. • Because of the layout, you will get people... Read more

"Friendly Staff, Roaming Stray Dog, Not Big Rig Friendly"

We have a 38’ Super C towing a Ford Ranger - we were suppose to have a “pull through” the road they EXPECT you to drive through would barely allow a large SUV - no way RV (even after unhooking tow) could do it. Had to back into our “pull... Read more

"Very Nice Campground"

Arriving at the Claytor Lake State Park, I was greeted by a cheerful and friendly Ranger, who directed me to the campground. I stayed on Loop D, a water/electric site that was large enough to easily park my rig and another. The road through the D... Read more

"Nice Property - Very Suburban"

Getting to Cedar Creek Campground involves driving along several winding, narrow roads through residential neighborhoods. The setting and grounds are nice, the sites mostly level and wide. The bathrooms/showers are stellar - work great, cleaned... Read more
