This is a great jumping off point for Big Bend National Park. Friendly staff, nice location, dark skies. In fact, there is often a stargazing event in the evenings, except the moon was too bright during our visit. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

We stayed here several times before for $20 per night. It was conveniently located based on our route. It was worth $20, but just barely. It is DEFINITELY NOT WORTH $50 PER NIGHT. It does have electricity & water but the site is 100% dirt so if it rains you have mud. It does have a very BASIC bathhouse with 2 showers & toilets but we didn’t...

We were only here one night and didn't get a lot of time to explore the park. The campground area seemed well kept up. The site quality was good but it wasn't terribly big and the adjacent sites are close but not quite as close as you'd expect for a campground like this one. The water pressure was good but the sewer inlet was kind of high. ...
