This was a nice free place to stay for a night. Great views right on the river. The road in was easy to navigate. Seemed to be recently laid gravel. At the end of the road is a gravel lot that leads to a boat ramp. Plenty of room for several rv’ers. There was only one other RV the night we stayed. The restrooms were locked due to Covid, but there was a clean porta potty. There were 3 cars that came through at separate times after midnight and then left. There is a train track across the river and several trains throughout the night. They didn’t blow the horn, but you can hear them. Didn’t bother us too much. The flies get pretty bad at sunset, but it’s camping so it’s expected. No shade. Fishermen Start to arrive at sunrise (we had 4 show up) so don’t expect to sleep in too late. You’ll wake up as they in load their boats.
We didn’t see any sign about no overnight stays. There is “rules” list by the restrooms and it just said “max stay 14 days”.

We parked next to the river just before entering the fenced area. It was beautiful but windy, as it typically is along the Columbia.
It was 100 degrees so we didnt venture out much until later in the evening.
I did not hear the highway or the trains at night.

Bit windy last night but only pleasantly breezy this morning. Very glad we made the stop. Plenty of level parking.

Right off the freeway onto well kept gravel washboard. Really easy to get to in any vehicle. Has a clean portable bathroom to use and great river view. About 5-7 other campers and vans. Bring some bug spray in July.

Road was kinda rough but the area is worth it.

The short road from the freeway exit to the river had gravel applied recently so It was only slightly washboard-y in a few spots. Our 36’ Class A had no problem on the wide road and no problem turning around in the camping area which is, basically, a big parking area.
There was one other RV there when we arrived in the morning. Two others showed up before nightfall. We parked 10 feet from the river and had a great view both up-river and down-river.
If you tried, you could hear the freeway faintly. There are trains running day and night on both sides of the river. They never woke us up but we could hear them when we were awake. Not loud. More of a white noise in the distance. No horns. Ever.
There is a restroom. Concrete floor, outhouse toilet, and hand sanitizer.
There is also a boat ramp. Several fisherman used it during the day. The water was clear so we could see fish swimming by.
We will definitely be back when passing through next time.

Gravel road with slight washboard but no issues with our 32’ Class C. We were the only RV here with 2 other truck & car campers. Very quiet with faint sounds from interstate traffic essentially working as ambient white noise with the wind helping drown out the sounds. Trains were not an issue.

A short drive off the interstate. Large gravel lot and mostly level with nice views of the river and friendly people there. State police came thru twice a day which was nice.
