Overall Rating

This isn't a traditional campground, but it offers the closest place to camp if you want to walk/bike around La Paz. The gate is typically closed and if they are full they will put a sign on the gate. Just walk up to the gate and get someone's attention.

Pros:
On the main bike lane in town
Lovely hosts/people
Great cell service

Cons:
Very small spaces (slightly bigger than a parking space)
Very tight maneuvering - you may need someone to move their vehicle.
Very low wires over the entrance. My rig is 11'3" and I barely made it in.

There is hot water for the showers, but I would recommend only using them if the other showers aren't occupied. There's only enough for one shower to run at a comfortable temp. There is a charcoal grill area you can use, and a large hangout area/kitchen.

I had a great experience here, but it's not for larger vehicles. I was in a Ram 3500 shortbed with truck camper.
