"Easy access, easy check-in"

We stopped there for an overnight heading home. Very easy access and mostly level sites. Very reasonable for full hookup but we only used power. It is right off the highway and across the street from a railroad track. But to our surprise, it was also quiet. I don't live in a city so I am not used to the constant background noise most...

"Good For An Overnight"

KoA Journey Raton was great as an overnight location Site 6 is a 30-amp full-hook up dirt site that was level. OTA was 5 channels (PBS). They do have cable but we didn’t hook it up. AT&T was decent with 2-3 bars LTE and 1-2 bars 5G. The campground WiFi allowed streaming at a good speed. Would stay here for an overnight again if passing through.

Our unique experience was the entire front row, and perhaps other spots, were filled with nice TT of a Latinx work crew. They were celebrating with a huge cookout and cervezas! ...

Quite little park at the base of Raton pass but, it clean, safe and camphost very nice. There's long-termers but it clean, we'll stop again.
