Just off Rt 65. Sites are large and level, so extremely easy to access. Great disc golf and nice walking for dogs and humans. Quiet at night. Only downside is no showers. Would definitely visit again.

Beautiful county park. Full Hook up sites on a concrete pad. Large sites. We were in site 25 next to the woods and lived it.
Only a short walk to the river and a 18 hole disc golf course. Verizon service was great.

Stayed last year and it was very nice but returned this year and not so much. Bathrooms not cleaned in a week finally called park office to get them cleaned. Someone living there had two vehicles and boat parked on their site and brought construction equipment back each evening and parked it in open spot. (Cement truck, stake bed truck, low boy with asphalt roller) These were unsightly and detracted from the nature setting. Camper had dog off leash entire time they were there. Camp host obviously works full time elsewhere and not present to deal with issues.

Beautiful, quiet and clean park with a disc golf course to boot. Perfect for an overnight stay, no road noise. Level, concrete pads. Restrooms clean, stocked and pass code protected. Easily accessible gas station on the way to/from campground.

Park is only 2-3 minutes from Interstate. Very easy to get there. Great place to stop for nite. Very large back in sites. Next to day use area and boat launch. Standard FHU and bath house. No road noise.

Great place for a few days or more. Great camp hosts. Clean bathrooms. Well maintained. Concrete pads for RV and for picnic tables. It is a bit isolated but loved it.

Stayed here 11/21/19 to 12/1/19. My rate ($31/night) is the weekly rate. This is a very quiet and nice park that is right off the interstate. The whole reservation/check-in/check-out process was really convenient because the manager just communicated with me through text. You make a reservation with him, but select the site that you want once you get there and let him know which one you chose. I really like this system because it guarantees you get a spot but you can pick which one you like the best once you see them all. He was also very nice and accommodating when I requested a later check-out time.
The park is kind of just a big open area and there aren't really trees or anything dividing up all the sites. However, the area is very well maintained and the sites were very nice. They are all paved and have a picnic table and full hookups. It seemed like there were quite a few long term campers here, as I saw a lot of campers parked but never any people or vehicles. It was very quiet here though and I really enjoyed my stay. It was nice having the river just down the road and being able to walk my dog around the park. The bathrooms were also very clean and well maintained. I didn't use the laundry but peeked in the window and it looked very nice as well. Overall this is a great base for exploring Mobile while still being in a nice quiet area.

I must admit the price wasn’t my favorite when they quoted it by phone but it was made up for with the fully paved, level sites with 50amp and dump stations at every location. It was so easy to get in and out overnight. Def worth it

We came here and it’s was very relaxing and peaceful. The staff could not be any more helpful or nicer than what they were. We love this place so much that we will surly come back when we want to get out of town for a quiet weekend.
