Stayed here one night on my way to MN. Sites are all pull thru, reasonably spacious and level. Some shade from trees. The Mens bathroom was disgusting!

We stopped here for a night but wish we could have stayed for a few days. Very peaceful campground. Great for the dogs too

Nancy was out of town but very responsive. No water due to winter and bathrooms and amenities closed but a safe quiet level spot with power and sewer l. I would definitely stop again.

We paid $25 per night and stayed two nights at the discounted rate using our Passport America Membership. We saved 50% off, a savings of $50 on our two night stay at this single campground. To date, our Passport America Lifetime Membership has paid for itself several times over. Cellular connectivity was exceptional at this campground. Verizon cellular service clocked in at 202.0 Mbps download speed and 15.7 Mbps upload speed. AT&T cellular service clocked in at 151.0 Mbps download speed and 7.27 Mbps upload speed. This simple campground is a great place to stop for a night, especially if you have Passport America. We paid $25 for full hookups. It had been a long day, it was hot and a thunderstorm was rolling in. This made the perfect place to stop. It was right off the highway and gave us 50 amps to crank up the A/C. This simple campground is a great place to stop for a night, especially if you have Passport America. We paid $25 for full hookups. It had been a long day, it was hot and a thunderstorm was rolling in. This made the perfect place to stop. It was right off the highway and gave us 50 amps to crank up the A/C.
A few things to know...Passport America rates are cash only, but there no blackout dates! The campground shares a driveway entrance with the Dollar General, so you turn before the campground sign. The first four sites in every row are full hookups, along with a smattering in the last row. There is a map inside the campground office showing which sites are full hookup. If you don't need sewer, the sites are only $20 Passport America.
Verizon and ATT were good. I was able to pick up all the major over-the-air TV stations out of Sioux Falls. The sites are gravel surround by grass and trees in between. There's not much more to say. It's basic and does the job.
We would definitely stay here again with the Passport America rate.

Stayed here one night. Neat and clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. All spots gave water and electric but not all have sewer. Pull thru spots. They do Passport America so it was a good inexpensive night.

A no frills campground right off 90. Easy checkin in the laundry building. Passport America gave me full-hookups for $25/night. A no frills campground right off 90. Easy checkin in the laundry building. Passport America gave me full-hookups for $25/night. I could pick my spot, and there were lots, so I chose one with a little shade. Long pull-throughs make it easy for me. The sites were packed gravel and level. There were only a few others in the park so it was mostly quiet. Road noise was noticeable but no problems with a nice noise maker for sleeping. Not every site has sewer, mostly it's the first 6 or so sites in each row, be sure to check while driving through. Sewer is $5 more on PA.
The park looked clean and well maintained. I never saw the staff except when I first checked in, although I'm sure they're around.
There's really not much in the Plankinton area in the way of commerce but you're right off 90.
