Don't take FR51 ! Willow Creek Rd (FR51) crosses private property. The owner was ....less than helpful...ok, a jerk and said the gate was closed and marked with a no trespassing symbol??? I looked twice and saw none, also the wire gate had been lying next to the road for quite some time. I tried to close it, and couldn't lift it out of... more
Don't take FR51 ! Willow Creek Rd (FR51) crosses private property. The owner was ....less than helpful...ok, a jerk and said the gate was closed and marked with a no trespassing symbol??? I looked twice and saw none, also the wire gate had been lying next to the road for quite some time. I tried to close it, and couldn't lift it out of the grass which was grown over.

This road is actually Forest Road 0051. The dirt road is perfect. A bit narrow in some spots. Saw a many truck and trailers go by but if you meet another not sure how they would pass. There is spotty cell service and great views. If you continue up Ephraim Canyon Road there is a campground.

Overall Rating
Steep trip up often washboard road, but veiw was killer! Some beautiful sites tucked away, not sure how many, but some big enough for most rigs. But beware of the steep, gravel road. We haven't gone down yet... Weekend locals nearby, but plenty of space between us.
