Peaceful and mostly private.
Idk about the other spots but we has lots of wasps mainly attacked to water. We have a 3 and 2 year old and brought their water table! They did not bother us one bit.
The site had fire pit/grill and cement table and chairs! Very nice.
Prepare for about 3 miles of steep downhill grade and sink holes in the very bumper road on the final 10 minutes until you’ve arrived.
WI-FI was actually pretty good. No cell service -AT&T

As private campgrounds go, this was one of the best we've seen. Sites are arranged around loops, but are set off from one another with plenty of space between RVs. There are also trees and tall grasses that provide nice natural barriers. We enjoyed sitting outside both in the mornings and evenings and never felt like we were too close for comfort with any of our neighbors.
The park is located about 20 miles south of the Hoover Dam and 50 miles from the Las Vegas strip, within the Lake Mead National Recreation area (so you'll need to show your annual pass or pay a fee to get in). As the name suggest, the campground is part of a marina which offers all kinds of boating and paddling rentals as well as guided trips.
Sites are on large cement pads with plenty of space for your tow vehicle. The utilities were well placed and worked well. We had a huge cement picnic table at our site as well as a large square sitting area with a built in fire pit. The campground wifi actually worked pretty well. There were times it would go down, but for the most part, it was solid. And this was an important feature because we had no cell service on our phones inside the Recreation Area.
I was able to book my own reservations online which was awesome and customer service was friendly and efficient. I am deducting points, however, because they jacked up their prices to the point of gouging. We paid $35 per night because I booked our stay before January 1, 2018. After that date, however, they increased the per night fee to $50 per night. While we liked the park, it's a bit hard to justify $50 per night for a campsite in that location, and to increase the per night price that much in one day is just ridiculous.
Other than this campground's abrupt and huge price increase, we highly recommend it. The sites were beautiful, spacious, and private, and the location was excellent for checking out the Hoover Dam and enjoying time on the water.

Wow! The RV park is perched up on a hill overlooking the marina and the Colorado River. The sites are large and private with zero light pollution and no noise. When I booked on line, there were no discounts offered. But when I checked in, I showed my Access Pass and was refunded 1/2 of what I paid. They also offer military and other discounts, but the website just isn't showing it - so if you qualify for one of these, make your reservation by phone or ask them for a refund when you check in.
This really is a remote location. Best used for a stopover before/after Vegas, etc. The camp store on site is relatively well stocked, but it is just a camp store. There was also a restaurant advertised on the check-in flyer, but we didn't look for it.
Although we had no cell service once we drove down into the canyon, the free WiFi at the park was super fast and reliable. It was better than what you find in hotels or even at home.

If you have a boat it’s a good place since they do have a marina. Hoover Dam is about 25 miles away and Boulder City about 35 miles. No cell service but some Wi-Fi in the park. We had it at our site but noticed much of the campground did not. Showers were clean and nice laundry facilities too. You do need a National Parks pass to come in as it is part of the Lake Mead National Recreational Area.

The camp hosts are very active in keeping the sites and the campground very clean. The campground does have some surrounding areas that are good for hiking, but it is a bit isolated from the hustle and bustle of Boulder City and the Vegas area, which we like.
All in all, a very relaxing place to camp and use as a base camp for the surrounding area.
