Although the road was closed to further off roading, it was easy to get a place next to the creek that had a camp fire and flat land for a roof tent. Closed in bathroom near by. Stunning views and ample room for the 5 groups around us. Couldn’t hear them if we tried. Highly suggest.

We were originally going to stay two nights but the winds were so intense that we had to bring in all our pop-out slides for the night. The wind was loud all night, and the wind chill was no joke. 17 degrees felt like 6 degrees at 8 am.
We would definitely stay here again just not at the end of October.

No utilities, no potable water, and a passable pit toilet. Sufficient AT&T LTE. There were two other RVs, plenty of space to spread out and call your own for the night or weekend. You can see and hear the road, but there was very little traffic.
THERE IS NO GATE at the main entrance to the Sno-Park parking lot/camping area. There IS a dirt road at the back of the parking lot. To the right is gravel camping along the river. To the left is the power utility's access road, which has a locked gate. There is absolutely no gate or signage preventing access, camping or overnight stays. There were several stone fire pits built around the perimeter of the parking lot. The parking lot is mostly built on a slope, so if you need a level pad, I recommend arriving before dark.

We shared the lower lot with one other motorhome and we were glad that no one else came, it would've felt crowded. We both backed in and it was nice and semi secluded. Had a few good hours of solar each day. The upper (main) lot had room for a bunch of RVs. We pulled 2 bars verizon 4g and could easily get 3 or 4 bars in the upper parking lot.

It is a little close to the road but the sound of the river was more apparent than any road noise.
There’s a huge parking area you can stay in or at the back of the lot there’s a way to get up on the ridge and you can camp there- out bus made it up there with ease.
There were a handful of other people who stopped in for the night and it seemed most people we just passing through but this could easily be a basecamp dog exploring the area (lots of good hiking or just a day relaxing on nearby trillium lake)
Permit needed in winter months (nov1-april30)
