Literally steps from the Intra Coastal! Beautiful spot with FHU and only $50/night. Super friendly owners and the long term era as well. WiFi also available. So worth going out of your way!

Family was vacationing nearby in Ocean Isle Beach NC and we looked around for a nearby campground. We found Waterway Campground which was on the intracoastal waterway but not many reviews. Family was vacationing nearby in Ocean Isle Beach NC and we looked around for a nearby campground. We found Waterway Campground which was on the intracoastal waterway but not many reviews. Turns out they reserve the waterfront sites for short term stays while the full timers are a ways back. We called just a couple weeks before and got lucky and we had a great site on the water. Fishing is big (caught my first flounder) so bring your poles. No website but call and speak with Lori who was very nice and helpful. Seems like locals fill the place up on the weekends so more availability during the week. We hesitated to write this review because the place seems like a well kept secret so hopefully the locals wont be mad at us.

Overall Rating
Loved our stay there last year! We were right on the Inlet Waterway. Everyone was so friendly. Bath houses were very clean. Went twice last summer. Only bad thing is there are a good many full time residents.
