Lots of great hikes in the area and the campground abuts a public golf course as well. The campground in general though could use a bit of TLC. The asphalt roads/driveways are patchy, the site hookups are poorly designed, campfire pits in disrepair, and the landscaping leaves much to be desired.
Most sites are paved but far from level. Additionally, quite a few sites feature water hookups on one side of the site while electric hookups are on the opposite side. We only had one, 25' shore power cord and one, 25' water hose so we couldn't be hooked up to both at the same time (we've since invested in an extra hose, but the hookup configuration in general just seemed very poorly thought out).
There are 3 loops in the campground Oak Hollow (Upper), Mahogany (Middle), and Cottonwood (Lower). Oak Hollow seems to mostly be primitive, tent sites (very small). Mahogany is the smallest of the 3 loops but seemed to have some of the nicer sites for travel trailers.
Heads up: If you arrive any earlier than 3pm (even if your site is available) be prepared to pay a $7 day use fee. They're very strict about arrival time.

We stayed at the Mahogany campground. Staff was super nice. Bathrooms were in great shape, we didn’t use the showers, but checked inside and they appeared to be clean and well kept. The campground host came by while we were setting up and wanted to make sure our fire pit was clean, was very kind.
It was really neat because of the view and everything it felt like you were really out in the wild, but it’s very close to town if a trip back was needed, we never made the trip but it was kind of comforting knowing if we forgot something it wouldn’t be an all day venture.
Had some family join us for the day, they really enjoyed their time as well.
Power and water hookups.
We’ll deff be heading back at some point!

Cons - way over priced for what you get.
Very little coverage, so unkept, roads are bumpy and uneven, so much overgrowth that looks as though they started to clear it a year ago and never went back to finishing it. And no matter where you go, you’ll always have those rude parents that let their children scream and yell at ungodly hours in the morning through the day. But that has nothing to do with my rating, that’s not the grounds fault.
T-Mobile coverage.... it says LTE 2 bars but the speeds are super slow.
I appreciated this spot and stayed the 4 days because it was a nice change to have access to showers and water on the campsite. Even if the showers were gross (don’t forget your flip flops in there!!)

I’d likely choose a different Utah State Park or NFS campground next time we come through here.

First of all, if you are towing a car add $10 to the fees right off the bat. I've never encountered this before, but only one vehicle per site is allowed, a second one costs another $10. So the motorhome towing a car has to pay an extra $10 excess vehicle fee. The fifth wheel or trailer however, does not. It seems kind of unfair. And seriously, $10 per night extra to park a car in your campsite? It seems like a big rip off to me. The sites are very unlevel, the asphalt is in terrible shape, and the electric box at my site was positively scary. AND it was only 20 amp. Be sure to read the site descriptions well when you reserve so you're not surprised. Of course, if you DO read the site descriptions you may be unpleasantly surprised when you arrive and find out your rig won't fit. The site I am in says it will fit a 40 foot vehicle, and there is just no way. Unless it's one of those buses with a bend in the middle. Finally, I don't know if there is any nightlife in Midway or Heber city, and neither will you if you stay here. The campground gates are locked at 10 PM and you do not get a gate code. So if you're out after 10 PM you'll be locked out. I don't care for that at all. As others have said, cell service is very poor. AT&T and Verizon were unusable, and Tmobile was giving me 1 Mbps both down and up. Which was slow but sort of worked. The showers were Inconsistent. The first day they were super hot, the next day on the cool side of lukewarm. The temperature is not adjustable. My friend used the handicapped shower as she is disabled and said only the low level showerhead worked. The other nice thing is there is a lot of wildlife. Squirrels birds etc. but for $32 per night and only 20 amp electricity, I was totally unimpressed with this place. I would go so far as to say it's the worst campground I've ever stayed at.

We prefer this loop as it has more trees than the other two loops. The entire loop is full hookup. If you are in one of the other loops the hookups vary but there is a dump station on-site. The sites we have stayed in are paved pads and some have concrete around the table area, other are dirt by the table and fire-pit.
One of the reasons we like this campground so much is the close proximity to Midway and Heber. They are great towns with many different things to offer. Camping isnt always about cooking over an open fire and having these two towns close by gives us a few different eating and shopping options. The south end of the campground bumps up against the Wasatch Mountain State Park Golf Course. We have gone over and had a drink at the clubhouse and sat on the patio overlooking the course. If fishing is your thing you are very close to the Mid-Provo (a blue ribbon fishery). It doesn't get much better than the Provo river in Utah. Check the city websites as there are all kinds of things that happen year round in this area.
Cell service in the entire area really isn't great (speaking about data service) and at the campsite it is nearly non-existent. I would not count on using your phone or jetpack for data throughout the entire valley. You can probably make a call but if you need any type of data, find a free Wifi in town. If you need to have cell service, check out the nearby Jordanelle State Park.
