45 ft w/toad. Awesome place. Can’t wait to return. Hopefully, will convince some family to stay in cabins close to our RV.
Great open spaces for kids to play!

As for the specifics, first of all, bring your own firewood. $4.50 for a bundle of wood which consisted of 4 small logs. However, the positive is they did have some for sale. We stayed in the second section (loop B I believe) and there are 2 bathhouse in this area. They only had one open at a time so depending on where you were located, it could be a longer than expected walk to the restroom. We were in site 52 so it was about half way between each facility which made in manageable, just not sure why they only had one open at a time? Claiming it was for Covid-19 doesn’t make sense because you are putting more people in one bathroom instead of spacing everyone out? Regardless the restrooms were very clean and the showers were hot so no complaints at all.
If you are planing on bringing and RV or Camper, but are also wanting to set up a tent, you will need to do some research as not all spots have a tent pad. The two I noticed in this area were sites 63 and 52.
The beach area off the lake has not been maintained lately, but it not swimming season anyway so not a big deal. I did fish in the lake and found out that you can only use Electric Power on the lake, so trolling motors only if you are bring a boat. Lake is probably more suited to kayak fishing, and seems to have some nice size largemouth bass in it.
Overall I am very pleased with the cleanliness and distance between each site and the beauty and the amenities of the campground. Great destination place and you better make reservations early. Every spot was filled this weekend.

Overall a nice overnight stay.

I took the time to hike a trail, looked like there was a variety. The park does have a lake, but no lakefront sites, you have to put in at a dock. I'm sorry I didn't want to unhook and drive over the lake looked great. Shower house was clean, cell service iffy, but I got reception up on the embankment trail.

We stopped here traveling thru I-40. This place is huge! Beautiful park on a lake. Site 49 had water, 50amp and sewer with some views of the lake and nice level pull through. So quiet mid week! It was hot in September, would be amazing in fall or winter.

There is so much space between sites, they all seemed relatively easy to get into and I noted all but maybe 1 or 2 would be a super simple level job. Lots of trails to enjoy that are well maintained and well marked. There is an equestrian camp inside the park with a few horse trails, it was nice to see the beautiful horses throughout the weekend. The bathhouses were super clean and the showers provided privacy if you utilize these amenities. The only 2 negatives that I could report for some would be that there is absolutely 0 cell phone service on ATT. I don't mean it's spotty. There is none. I also noticed that 3 or 4 sites in our loop would not have been big rig friendly so pay attention when you are looking as many are. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay so much and will be back in the future no doubt.

We arrived after 8:00 PM so we checked in the following morning and the staff was very accommodating. The park was immaculate. The rest rooms and shower were a little worn, but were kept clean. No real WiFi. Sometimes a bar to do some texting. All in all we and our two grandson had a good time. The boys did a lot of bike riding.
Site is an easy level.

Site 12 was a double site with 13, and as described 13 would remain vacant unless campers requested sites together. Site 12 was a little washed out so we just moved to 13. We were right next to a creek. There were a few other campers in the park. The bath house was nice. Lots of trees so we couldn’t get satellite to work. Will stay again I’m sure.

Very nice campground! We ended up with a pull-thru spot which was very nice. Spots are paved and level. Could see glimpses of the lake through the trees behind our spot. No cell phone service on AT&T, which was a great excuse to turn the phone off. Will definitely stay again!
