“Pretty Campground Close to Highway. FCFS Available. Not "Small RVs Only".”

Pros:
- Northern sites are right next to and above the Ocoee River. Southern sites tuck up against the rocky mountain.
- Hiking trails everywhere.
- Clean. Well-cared for.
- Drinking hydrants available.
- Probably busier on weekends and closer to summer, but on a weekday in April, we were one of only two campers.
- FCFS and reservations available. Honor box.
Cons:
- No dump station.
- Poison ivy everywhere.
- Right next to highway so road noise is persistent.
I wouldn't call this a "small RVs only" campground. I'm 45' long and I maneuvered with ease throughout the campground. There are plenty of back-in sites that would swallow 60' of equipment. There's also a big teardrop at the end that can accommodate any equipment. Perhaps the only tight spot would be the turn into the campground from the powerplant parking lot.
I had 1 bar of occasionally usable unboosted 4G service.
Bob K would stay here again

In the summertime when it’s boating season this campground will be packed they were correct you should only have small rigs in there Rocky going in it’s behind the water plant over a tiny bridge just after the white water park. It’s a great place if you’re planning on voting the river or attending the water park but you’d have to get their way ahead of time
Jojo would stay here again
