Overall Rating
Three Mile Rec Area was by far the best campground we stayed in during our month long trip. The sites were well graveled, and while not level, they were easy to access. Note: you will need a 30 foot electrical cord to reach the electrical boxes as these are place half way between 2 a-joining campsites.
The restrooms and showers were excellent with lots of hot water for showers. The views of the Three Mile Lake were terrific! We enjoyed all the water fowl. Very quite place.
Nightly cost was $17.00 with electricity. There are also cabins that can be rented.
This lake hold the record for the biggest crappie caught in Southern Iowa. Nice cleaning station for fisherman.
