The site was a bit small for us, but they were accommodating us and not causing us to pay for a much bigger site than we really needed. We really appreciated that! The sites had landscaping between each site, lovely desert and rock gardens that set these sites apart from other campgrounds we have been in here in the west. The shower, laundry, and bathroom facilities were very clean. The campground management was helpful and kind. Great place to stay in Taos.

Taos Valley RV is a pretty, perfectly maintained CG, and the ideal spot for exploring the surrounding area. Making our reservation online couldn’t have been easier, and upon arrival we were greeted by the friendly owners, RVers themselves who can offer a plethora of useful information about the area (which they have condensed into a helpful area info sheet) and in general, after FTing themselves for a number of years.
Campsites are a variety of shapes and sizes and include FHU, W/E, and dry camping options, and while the spacing is consistent with many commercial campgrounds, this park has a lot of nice landscaping and an interesting lay-out that makes it big-rig friendly while offering the feel of a natural setting with some privacy and plenty of room to walk a dog.
Our site was FHU/50amp, and our utilities were easy to reach and worked perfectly during our stay (including a frost-free spigot). Our site was relatively level and long enough for access to our garage. The WiFi worked fine, and Verizon worked OK, though the booster helped. They also allow package delivery along with the amenities of a bathhouse, laundry, and dump/fill station. We really enjoyed our week-long stay here, but that wasn’t nearly enough time so we’ll be back.

The park is really clean and over our stay, it is clear they are working hard to keep it that way. One thing I did like is that while the sites are close together like most RV parks, they have plenty of vegetation between the sites that give you more privacy than most parks. I was surprised that it was much quieter than I would have thought for a location in town. Once the evening came, things got surprisingly quiet.
The location is great, right in town. If you are looking for activities in Taos, you won't find a better spot. We visit Taos regularly and we now have a new home for when we go.

Nice RV Park close to everything. We explored the Enchanted Circle, Taos and Santa Fe. Great diverse area. Park has a natural setting to it and great views of surrounding mountains. Beautiful sunsets too. We'll return again and again!

You cant beat this location close to town. Nice open space and a large park. Showers have good pressure. Simple park but has everything you need. We selected an electric and water only site as it was $13 cheaper per night. They have a dump station on site. Cell signals were good with Verizon and Tmobile.

This is one of only a few RV parks in the immediate area of the city of Taos. This campground had positive reviews, and the photos looked nice, so we chose it.
As other people indicated, the park is clean, and reasonably spacious for a private campground. There were buddy sites so your traveling partners could have coaches facing one another, which is also nice. There was ample room to park both our fifth wheel and our truck. The sites we had were concrete and level (we were traveling with others, and their site at a different area of the park was dirt/rock and much less level).
There was good Verizon and AT&T cell service in the park as well. I don’t use park WiFi, the laundry rooms, or the bathrooms so I cannot comment on that (although people we were traveling with said they were nice).
My issue with this park is the way they charge. Their website indicates a certain charge for 30 amp sites, 50 amp sites, pull-thrus and back-ins. Also, some had sewer, and some did not. Not until we got there did we discover that although we had paid for a premium spot with 50 amp power and sewer, that the cost of the electricity itself was NOT included in the price. This was not prominently indicated on their website. Their policy/procedure was to take a meter reading each day, and that cost was added to the camper’s bill at the end of their stay. I understand that many campgrounds do this for monthly campers, and even weekly. I have NEVER seen this at a campground on a daily rate. I have been all over the country, staying at private campgrounds from coast to coast, and this was the only one that I have ever seen that charged for electricity on a daily rental. I brought this to their attention, and their attitude was, “that’s the way we do it”.
The actual dollar amount was not great, about $2/night...but that was based upon our usage. We had people traveling with us that used their air conditioner (we did not) and it was about $5/night. They have every right to do this, but it goes against the industry standard that I have seen everywhere else.
When we checked our credit card, he had charged all of the electricity to one card instead of to the three individual cards. This wasn’t discovered until we had left. When we called back to ask about this, the owner/proprietor was curt and rude. So, I am only giving this campground 2 stars because of that. If it weren’t for that, I would give it 4 stars. Take this information and use it how you choose.
Cell service (AT&T) was great. We stayed in a 35’ fifth wheel.

This is in a neighborhood, which has its own sense of wildness to it, but not the kind we enjoy. We DID hear a neighbor blasting AC/DC’s “Thunderstruck” at 10pm - and sadly had not had enough drinks to be pumped about it. The showers are warm, the bathrooms are clean. There seem to be a lot of residence in this park, and they are not particularly friendly. The sight charges extra for electricity (I’m assuming it’s bc they have so many full timers?). I would not go back here. Even to live, I would find a prettier spot.

Compare that to the INDUSTRY STANDARD rate of $45 per night and we came out ahead.
