This is a pretty good Fairgrounds facility. All sites are three way (W/E/S) fairly level but fairly close together. This is basically a large gravelled area. Be aware that the placement of the sewer hookups was not designed by anyone with any RV experience as they are way at the back of each site and even with our standard sewer hose plus a 15 foot extension we found that many sites would not work for us. Through trial and error we did find a site that worked so be persistent!
The area is quiet (so long as there isn’t a noisy special event in process) and as such makes a great overnight spot when traveling on I-80. The other choice in town (the KOA) is right on the Interstate. The facility is about two or three miles off a freeway exit so using this for an overnighted is a breeze.
Verizon was fast enough to stream video.
The staff in the office and the maintenance folks were very friendly and accomodating. The campground “caretaker” was less so and was either having a bad day or needs to be reminded that his purpose in being here is to be helpful. Simply offerIng us to move (after we were all set up) or refund our money is not a helpful response to someone looking for a site with working water and an accessible sewer hookup. But his demeanor is not a reason to skip this place and chances are you won’t ever see or have to deal with him.

Wifi worked okay, but we used cell data most of the time.

We stayed here for a week while having some repairs done on our truck. (By the way, I do NOT recommend the Toyota dealership in town). It was supposed to be hot that week so our priority was to find a place to stay with electric hook-ups. That plan almost backfired on us because they only have 50amp power and our trailer only uses 30amp. Walmart to the rescue.
Other than that small issue, the campground was exactly what we expected - a gravel lot with hook-ups. There were no events at the time of our stay and only a half dozen other RVs in the lot. The onsite caretaker couldn't have been nicer. She told us that we were welcome to park sideways in one of the spots or take up more than one so we could reach the hook-ups. Good thing because they are positioned in such a way that you need long hoses and cords to reach.
This is not the kind of place you stop at because you want to go "camping" but if you need a clean and (mostly) quiet spot right off I-80 with full hook-ups it should work. Also, $25/night is way cheaper than the KOA on the other side of town.

We stayed here overnight while passing through. Although there are 1200+ sites, only the small main campground section was open in mid-June when we visited. It's basically a giant dirt/gravel parking lot with fences separating each site, and a fence behind each site with shared utility hookups behind the fence. We arrived on a Friday which means events were happening at the fairgrounds (high school rodeo finals, and stock car race). The friendly caretaker took our money, pointed us to the north-west corner and said there should be a few empty spaces left in that area. We found some, but the campground was nearly full and was a mess with RVs, horse trailers, pickup trucks, ATVs, and more parked randomly all over. Despite the number of campers there, noise was minimal. We backed into a site (with our 37' motorhome sticking out into the lane) and had nowhere to put our tow car other than in the empty site next to us (several folks parked their longer rigs diagonally across two sites). The dirt roads had large ruts in them where they met the main campground road, which required some extra care when pulling out. Since the whole campground area is just gravel we found a grassy area around the main fairgrounds parking lot for our dog walks. Verizon worked pretty well, AT&T was slow. This was an OK spot for an overnight, but we may have actually been more comfortable in the nearby Walmart parking lot for the night. Clearly the RV sites exist primarily to serve the rodeo participants and not travelers, so I understand the shortcomings of the location. I expect when events aren't happening and the campground is less crowded it is be a more reasonable spot for an overnight stop.
