Originally planned to stay at Redfish Lake but stopped here first and glad we did! Sites are well spaced and level. Very clean throughout, best of all it’s not crowded! There is some traffic noise during the day but very quiet at nite.

We lucked out on this one. Got the last one available. Our price reflects ours being a Double site. We'd love to stay again.

Great campground between Stanley and Redfish lake. Friendly camp host, large sites, and great views of the river and mountains.

All the campgrounds around Redfish lake were full so we ended up a about a 1/2 north of the Redfish lake turn off. The campground is clean, has water, trash, and easy access to Redfish lake and the other activities around the town of Stanley ID.
The site we stayed in was a bit narrow for a trailer with slides but was fine as long as we did not put out our awnings. The site itself was level and solid, the picnic table, grill table, and fire ring were all solidly constructed and clean.
Was able to make use of our solar panels without issue, most of the sites have a clear view of the sky for at least several hour a day it would seem.
The vault bathrooms appear to be cleaned daily and were in good shape. The water is from hand pumps scattered throughout both loops. A dump station with potable water is located about 1.5 miles away at the nearest ranger station (just north on the highway and to the left). The water I assume was free to use, there were envelopes for check/cash payment to use the dump station.
Verizon Cell coverage at the campsite was between 2 and 3 bars on an iPhone 6s, an older mifi device got a solid 3 bars of coverage w/ 7mb/s down and 2.5 up.

Still a little close to the highway, but if you camp in the back the river would drown out any road noise.

Much more quiet than redfish lake and only 5 minutes away. Idaho pit toilets are well kept, clean and have air fresheners.
