Overall Rating
Close to Kansas City, shopping mall and Fort Leavenworth. Sites are well tended and easily accessed.
The owner, Vickie, is very professional, yet kind and accommodating. We stayed six weeks. My husband works remotely and had no issues, using our own hotspot thru AT&T.
Our absolute only grumble was that a lot of the dog owners fail to clean up after their pets. It’s like walking on a land mine over in the little meadow area around the pond. Literally every few yards. This is not exclusive to this park by any means, just unfortunate that it’s like this. Such a beautiful campground! Not sure it’s something that can be controlled 🤷🏻♀️
Overall, our stay was great and I would highly recommend.
If you travel with a furry companion please just pick up after your pet and keep the campground beautiful!!

Located On A Pond…. But Super Quiet And Relaxed. Nearby To Kansas City And Fort Leavenworth. A Good Amount Of Long-timers Here, But Never An Issue! Owner Lives On Property And Very Communicative.
We have a 45 foot fifth wheel on the far side of the lake and enjoyed it for our 12 day stay. Be wary that there is a very sharp turn coming in, and with a larger rig you will need to be observant.
Very peaceful to walk around.
