There was only one other camper when I was here and the sites are big and plentiful with hook ups water and electric. Full hook ups are $30 a night and no hook ups are $10 a night.

There are no signs leading you to camping area, nor designating the camping area or specific camp sites. It's a big field near the boat launch. For the electric sites, along the wood line, the electricity is unlocked after you pay at city hall. $30 for electric sites. $10 for primitive camping, which in my mind was nicer, closer to the water, wherever you choose. No one comes to collect money; it's up to you to go to City Hall and tell them you are or have camped , and for how long. No bathrooms of any sort at camping area, but there are a number of them elsewhere in the park, mainly by the ball fields. Good place for birding!

I left the below review. After staying here a second night, I was approached by a very friendly park worker. I left the below review. After staying here a second night, I was approached by a very friendly park worker. He told me that it cost $10 a night to stay here, and had known that I’ve been here for two nights. He said you pay… I think at City Hall?…down the road. But he wasn’t expecting me to pay, especially when I told him I was leaving today. So, you can either pay or play it dumb and see if are asked to pay. If planning to just stay a night, It’s quite possible you can get by without paying.

I camped right along a dirt road where there’s a cement picnic table. there’s also an official free camping area just a bit further down the road but still within the park. There’s bathrooms at the baseball field and may be elsewhere. seems safe and legal to pretty much camp anywhere. A few people taking strolls with their dogs. Overall very quiet and peaceful.

Beautiful community park. I am so happy that I found this place. Although a couple weeks ago because of all the rain in south eastern United States this was underwater. I called City Hall and dropped off my trailer and went in the City Hall and paid them. Nice area Russell Cave national monuments very close. And it’s just a really nice area That you can do a lot of different activities within an hours drive. So happy I found this little gem. This being a community park they do have quite a few ball parks a nice playground for kids and in the summer there’s a pool
