No one was at the check in so we found our way to our campsite using the online map. Our back-in site over looks the Massard Creek which flows into the Arkansas River not far away. If it weren’t a rainy day, we would ride our mountain bikes on some of the local trails. I’d love to come here again

Stayed here 1 night in route to Hot Springs. We also had enough time to visit Fort Smith National Historical Site. Sites were spacious and clean. Our site level with minor corrections. Did not use the bathhouse.

It sounds as if the A loop may have a better signal. The river is nice and the trails are good. Lots of birds for our cats to watch and lots and lots of trees. Our site wasn't very level until we backed in all of the way, at which time it became level enough that we didn't need to unhitch for the night, which was really great! Reasonably quiet, except for the one time in the evening when a bunch of jets flew over all at once.

This was a nice stay. Was quiet even though it was next to a busy road. Great bicycle trails and plenty of places to take dogs for a walk. Spent a lot of time on the bike trails, they were awesome. RV sites were very spacious. I was A03, and it was not level, but a few other spots were, not many. Backed up to the water with great scenery. The only reason for the 4-star is the showers. All showers did say closed for the winter. It was not until I was out for a bicycle ride and heard someone showering that I had found an open shower. Think the shower I checked in that building must have been out of order, but the sign said different, so I didn't check other showers. The showers were very clean and well kept with warm water in the shower on a push-button system. Wanted to stay another week but had somewhere to be. I use my internet for work and it was excellent service. T-Mobile Home internet was 5 bars with 97.4 mbp down and 42.2 mbps up. Verizon phone hotspot was 5 bars 5G with 65.4 down and 22.2 up.

That being said, it smelled so bad i couldn’t be outside. If i wasnt inly here for one night, we would have left early for sure. It smelled like a dumpster on a hot summer day. And i walked around the entire park with my dogs, the whole park wreaked. I believe its because of a waste management plant five miles up the river. Whatever the reason, i almost puked being outside. I have a strong sense of smell. So if bad smells dont bother you its perfectly fine.

We stopped just for the night. Had B8. Level and easy to back into with our Class A. Very quiet place not far from the river. Limited cell coverage. Starlink worked fine. Would stay again.

Stayed at site A16 - this smaller loop is a few minutes drive from the main campground and worth it. Had a level site on the creek, bathrooms were just okay (definitely worn), and the park was clean and walkable. Dump site in another loop. Spring Hill was on our direct route and recommended - $9 with our lifetime senior pass.

At this location only boating is possible, as there are no beaches. The sites have pads but sites are not all level as the area is hilly. My site has 30A electric and water. The campground has a dump station. I found a map of the campground online as I did not see any elsewhere. Its a little ways off of I-40 but if I pass this way again I would consider staying again.

No check in just roll to your site lol. A bit tight for a 42' DP but we managed. Walmart, internet, and a view is all we need and this campground checked all three.
