Overall Rating

I have stayed here so many times and never had a bad experience. The spots in B loop are the best. The place is wooded and spaces are staggered in length creating some privacy.

Staff is friendly and the camp store is well stocked.

Overall Rating

Park is good overall. Liked our wooded campsite but navigating to it was a little confusing. Park wasn’t overcrowded so it was nice and quiet. Bathhouses were clean but old. Washer and dryer worked well. Staff were nice and helpful. Good camp store.

This campground is right off the Blue Ridge Parkway very convenient to Linville Falls, Linville Viaduct, Grandfather Mountain, Mount Mitchell & Boone. Great campground! Staff helped us back in and was very friendly. Had a campstore with supplies. Campground has a few hiking trails. Close to some great hiking, it is right off the blue ridge parkway! Very pretty area to stay! Family friendly and pet friendly! I recommend hawks bill mountain trail that is a 45 min drive away!

This is a well developed and maintained campground with many amenities. There are several loop trails that are challenging and rewarding and include views and waterfalls.
