This is a lovely city-owned no-frills campground but has everything I needed or wanted. Staff checks in and is friendly. Kindly notified me of events in the area for the weekend and I enjoyed going to Cuyahoga Falls Fest.

The access road into the park is in good shape. Our site was the last one available and had 20 amp electrical hookups on a shared pedestal with the site behind us. The other site was assigned the 30 amp plug - seems to be the setup here. No issues with wiring/voltage. The site was grass and fairly unlevel with an increasing side to side slope the farther back we went.
It's a very laid back park and the value is great at $18/night. Some mild amount of train noise but good overall. Dump station and potable water fills are avaliable. The park host was very friendly and had official Cuyahoga Valley NP brochures, a local map, and a sticker for us. It's only 10-15 minutes to the national park.
Note that there is no refund for cancellations. This is unfortunate - we got the last site for the week but there were lots of vacant but booked sites. They should consider providing cancellation refunds or having folks that don't show up forfeit their reservation.

The city staff was wonderful! We had reserved a 20 amp site, but when we got there the person next to us, who were supposed to use the 30 amp plug, were using ours. It looked like someone had yanked out their cord and broken the receptacle. We couldn't blame them for not wanting to use it. We called the office immediately and their Building Maintenance Foreman was there within an hour and it was fixed shortly after.
There are two park attendants who come after 5:00 every day who provided all sorts of information about the park as well as the attractions in the area. The location was quiet and dark at night. The sites were no too close and the water and electric were dependable. The dump station is a bit outdated, but it functioned just fine. The access road was a bit bumpy, but not jaring. The only thing that threw us was that the campground entrance is separate and about 1,000 feet to the right of the park entrance.
We could definitely camp there again.

Was raining for a few days when I got there and the grass/ground got soft. Internet was good, didnt need my WeBoost. 5 day max. Guy comes around checking reservation and is friendly/helpful. Other reviews are accurate.

This is a small city run campground in Stow, Ohio. It's basic camping; electric only. There is a pedestal for two sites. One site will generally be 30 AMP and the other 15 AMP. When you reserve your site online, be aware which site/AMP you are reserving. There is water at the campground in a few different locations. You can top off your freshwater tanks before you set up. The dump station is easily accessed at the entrance/exit with a non-potable water hose nearby to flush with if you choose. There are clean porta jons at each end of the campground. There are flush toilets down at the baseball fields an 1/8 mile or so from the campground. No showers but there is hot water available. Each site has plenty of space, a fire ring and a picnic table. Sites 1-8 are primarily under canopy of the nearby woods. The remainder are either full sun or partial shade. The campground is quiet with access to the city park that includes athletic fields, a fishing lake, dog park and trails. We are from the area and spent three nights here on our first camping trip in our new travel trailer as a shakedown camp. We wanted to be close to home if there was going to be an issue. We will definitely come back when we want a nearby last minute get away. In conclusion, this is an $18 a night electric site campground with access to freshwater and black water dump. Its well maintained and quiet. Its near Blossom Music Venue and Cuyahoga Valley National Park. It's hard to beat that value.

Less than $20 with tax. Must book & pay online or call before 4PM. Some shaded, some not. Some level, some not. Someone checked that I had reservations soon after I arrived. I wanted to see the sites first, so I did not. There were a few available so no problem. Electric only. No other hookups or amenities except bathrooms.

There are porta potty‘s near the campsites but the flush bathrooms are across the field. Be sure to check the weather prior to your stay if you’re able to, each site was very muddy. There wasn’t a dry patch of grass on the whole campsite, I walked around and checked with my dog. Each site does have electric and nearby water access. If your tent camping avoid sites one through eight. These campsites are pretty rocky and uneven. I have a Raised tent so I was fine on site 4.
