I would stay again.

The owner was so nice and got us a spot last minute. Nice little RV park. Very quiet. Sites are on the smaller size. Not a lot of good places to walk your dogs. Watch for the goathead stickers! We loved downtown Mesilla and exploring Las Cruces. We would stay here again if coming back to the area.

Yes, it is a bit less than some other campgrounds, but it could stand some improvements and more regular cleaning of the bathrooms and showers.
On the plus side it is pretty well-located within walking distance of historic Mesilla. We also benefited from Debra's welcome as we arrived early attempting to beat the high wind warning which makes our Aframe impossible to set up.
The sites are all gravel or sand but pretty level. There are some trees which probably provide a little shade in warmer months. Sites are pretty close together, but I've seen worse. There are some well-worn picnic tables at most of the sites. Many long-term folks make it their home, and their sites are, on the whole, well-kept.
It is the bathroom and shower area which provided the greatest disappointment. I don't think that he men's room was cleaned the entire time we were there. The showers are old and could stand more cleaning.
We were told that there is a new owner, and that he is making some upgrades. We did see work on the roads and camping spots while there. There was also some evidence of upgraded fixtures in some of the bathroom and shower area. That's a great start, but much could be done. In the meantime, keeping what is there clean would be a great improvement.
There was wifi, but it was weak. We tended to use hotspots on our cell phones to connect and read email.
All in all on ok place to stay, but if price is an issue, Leasburg Dam State Park about 25 minutes from Las Cruces offers 30 amps and water for $14 a night and sits in a lovely desert location.

This was our 2nd time at Siesta. It is easily accessible off Rt.10, safe, quiet and clean. There is a mix of full time and travelers. Free cable, electric, water and decent cell service. It is just down the road from Old Mesilla with nice shops and restaurants. Sites are close, some traffic noise.

Front desk lady very nice, helpful. A renter runs a dog grooming business in a small casita near front of property. We were able to get my dog in the next day. She did a nice job-$45
Shower worked fine and seemed clean.
Rv park within walking distance of restaurants, winery, metal yard art shops. Visit Andela’ for great food

Dumpy, dusty little park. Good for overnight only. Owners are neglecting the overgrown trees and there’s quite a bit of debris around. Told not to go to dog run area as it’s full of stickers. Neighbor parked his truck in our front yard area because he had two other vehicles on his site. Didn’t ask, just did it. Close to freeway.

This site let me in a day early and was very helpful. Excellent local tips on dining and hiking. Close to I-10 and the historical village of Mesilla.

We are traveling the nation and these showers are hot and have great water pressure! They aren’t the nicest looking as the building is generally pretty old, but the showers were great! WiFi was just so-so. Laundry was ok, needed to cycle dryer twice. Nice staff. Good location, nice park. Enjoyed our stay.
