Overall Rating
Nice for overnight or a few days. Lake is pretty, tree line blocks the wind. Dry sites or electric. 2 miles off hwy.

Overall Rating
Electric sites $10 without electric $7 on the honor system, you pull in and park where you wish. There is no water, if you need it come prepared. Dump station in town at the city park which also has camping. The views at Short Creek Dam are beautiful, sunsets jaw dropping. There were very few other people camped there, I picked a site that backed right up to the water, had the area all to myself. Fishing, kayaking and boating on the lake. There are two seperate pit tiolet houses I assume as I did not use them. Playground for the wee ones. My Verizon picked up the canadian tower rather then the one in town 6 miles away fine for me as I have international plan. Mifi no signal. One fuzzy canadian over air tv station. I was here to visit old family homestead sites and visit Short Creek Church and graveyard where my family are buried going back many generations. Coming back to the trailer and simply enjoying the views, peace and quiet was all I wanted or needed.
