We were only here for one night and didn't venture too far off the road since we pulled in kinda late. Plenty of spots to park both near the highway and further away. Can stay up to 14 days for no charge. Did see a few homeless folk living under tarps around us, but no bother. If you're a geocacher, there are lots of caches in the... more

If you're a geocacher, there are lots of caches in the area so plan to stay a day or two. We would stay here again.

It's free, it's convenient and I was only here for a night. Next time I'd probably stay on some land further away from the highway. There was a camp host who was very friendly and the sunset and sunrise were both gorgeous. Didn't see any garbage which was nice! I was able to find a pretty level spot (only 21 feet so it's easy). I was able to find a pretty level spot (only 21 feet so it's easy). Be aware if you arrive at night there are a few washed and camp fire pits around. Also, the road in gets a bit messy so it might be best to drive out the main entrance rather than heading down the "paved" road.
The RV Pit Stop nearby has paid dump and water fill up.
RNYC would stay here again

Expect dust and amazing sunsets here. ATVs are allowed to ride on the streets here though, which was a big help for us. If you need a part for your ol' RV it can be found in this town. There's a very eclectic RV flea market along with gem and mineral venders.
We had cell and data here, I remember the Verizon was epic fast. Watch our videos for the Quartzsite experience.
