We were just passing through but would have stayed a few more days if we had time. Nightly fee included $7.50 charge for out of state visitors. You also need a park pass to enter. We had one from another park we stayed in (SD) which was transferrable.

Very helpful staff when arriving last night (paid the $6 vehicle fee) and then made the site payment with the agent on the phone who was also very nice. Emailed receipt all total was $31.97 - so in addition to the $6 gate fee, the campground was $21, a $2 phone reservation fee, a $7.70 non-resident fee and $1.27 in taxes. No complaints, just saying that it adds up to $37.97 for a night. But couldn't be happier. T-Mobile just fine with a booster. This is one of those parks where there are no bad sites.
Update: Found the dog park! (in the very middle of the huge central grassy area up on the hill - follow the mowed paths). It may not be the biggest dog park but it probably has the best views of any.

It's the first park that we'd seen with a fenced in dog park. That was nice, but here's the best part: SD regulations permit dogs off leash as long when they are 200 feet away from (and not disturbing) others as long as they are under their owner's control. This was a huge plus for us! The big prairies in the park quickly became our own dog parks and the areas of open lakefront were a favorite of the dogs'.
In addition to all the recreation opportunities offered by the lake, there are miles of dirt road for riding and running. Outside of the this park (and reviewed separately) is a huge shoreline where dispersed camping is allowed.

Verizon 2 bars Booster on 5.17/.51 mbps down/up. And yes it really is a decimal 51.
