The gravel in this park is more silt than gravel which turns into mud when it rains or snows. We were fortunate to have been a week from when it snowed and it was just starting to firm up! Site 36 was level with gravel, full hookups, and had a picnic table on a square of Astro turf. Connectivity: AT&T LTE 3 bars (30 up / 8 down), OTA Channels = 20+. Park had free WiFi, but we did not use it as we had our hotspot. No recycling options were available. Used our Good Sam discount for 10% rates.

The campground (CG) was easy to find and check-in was a breeze. We were originally in site 53 right across from the office but that would have been way too small so we were moved to site 43 which is a long FHUs pull-through. The manager spent time chatting with us about the CG and interesting happenings this last season. The utilities were smartly placed in the middle of the site. WiFi was above average. There were a few seasonal residents who were working in the area. We got a solid variety of OTA channels and were able to get our satellite to connect. The trees in the CG are young so provide some shade. Our site didn’t have cable but some do. There are also premium sites down by the North Platte river that runs adjacent to the CG. There are also tent sites by the river. There is a fiber optic cable facility near the CG that runs 24/7 to include weekends, so there is some noise during the night i.e. backup beeping from forklifts. However, our air conditioner and/or sound machine easily drowned out the noise. As this CG is right outside Casper, there are a ton of amenities nearby. There are nice areas to walk our pups by the river. We enjoyed our two nights stay to include doing some fly fishing in the river at the CG and would definitely come back.

RIVER'S EDGE CAMPGROUND
We needed a place to overnight in Casper on the way to Devils Tower. This campground had four stars from most reviewers. The campground was well kept, and the owner/manager was very nice. There is a recreation room with books and a pool table. They have laundry and shower facilities as well. The campground is right on the North Platte River, which is nice.
The downside of this campground is that it is all dirt/clay. Each campsite has an artificial turf patio area with a picnic table, but the pads for the RV and the road are made out of the same dirt/clay material. The morning of our arrival, it had just snowed a little. That snow quickly melted, and the entire surface had turned into a mud like paste. This mud got EVERYWHERE. Our coach was coated with it on the inside, and the truck & fifth wheel were painted with it as well. I don't know if the solution is to re-gravel the park or what, but if it is raining or in the wet season, I would keep this in mind. I imagine in the summer, it would be fine.
There is park wifi, but it is slow, at about 1 mbs. They have 20/30/50 amp service, and full hook-ups. They even offer satellite TV in some spots. There are pull-thru and back-in sites as well. The rates were about $43/night, and they accept Good Sam as a discount (10%).
Because of the mud, we might not stay there again.

There was an open area kind of in the middle, where two dumpsters are located. We just spent a night, but felt a friendly vibe of a well run place. There is a pipe factory on an adjacent property, it was in operation till about 10pm on Friday night, not too noisy. Easy access from I 25, decent spacing, some long term residents, but all well kept.
