Overall Rating
Very nice site along the river. There are no sewer hook ups and the cost for the honey wagon to pump you out is $25.00. The power is only 30 amp and is very sketchy, be sure to have a surge protector. Bathrooms are clean. See review on YouTube at:

Overall Rating
Campground was very open mowed grass. All site look to be level. Was asked not to use a mat as it would kill the grass. No a problem but a bit strange to me. Bathhouse was good with pay showers. Good shower for a quarter maybe 2 if you have long hair. Our site 23 was creekside and had lots of chipmunks. No over the air TV and verizo... more

Our site 23 was creekside and had lots of chipmunks.
No over the air TV and verizon was iffy. Each morning around 8:30 a train rolls by close in the woods but unseen.
Entrance road is long dusty gravel

Overall Rating
Check in time is no earlier than 2 PM, check out time is no later than 11 AM. There's a good reason for that in the fact that the road in is only one lane and its long and if you have to backup you'd be in trouble. Sites well spaced, some open, some well treed. There's a good reason for that in the fact that the road in is only one lane and its long and if you have to backup you'd be in trouble. Sites well spaced, some open, some well treed. The site was well maintained, grass was mowed. We have our fishing poles and licenses and drowned a few worms in the New Haven River that runs right along the campground and had a great time. Restrooms were very clean. Pay showers but one quarter got all the time you needed. Owners very responsive to our needs.
