This casino is right off Interstate 8 in Winterhaven, CA. Closer to AZ than California though. We haven't stayed in too many Casino locations but this one seems pretty nice. It is very close to Los Algodones so if you are having any 'work' done down there it is close and free to stay here. We stayed a couple of extra days because it is close to downtown Yuma, AZ for supplies and sightseeing. We had planned to be at Imperial Dam LTVA but it is a 25-30 mile drive over rough asphalt to get to Yuma. We found it easier on the gas budget to stay here.
We did go and have dinner at the casino one night. They have weekend specials but we were here during the week. Typical casino restaurants a small diner like, a mid level restaurant, and a "high end" steakhouse. We ate in the mid level, service was poor but food was good and price was good..
There weren't too many generators running around 9:00 PM when we went to sleep but I had to use the blackout curtains to keep the casino parking lot lights out.
Wi Fi - Non existent.
Verizon - 1 bar and slow but workable. (Imperial Dam had 3 bars and fast).
T-Mobile - 3 bars and pretty quick.
It seems like you can stay here for a long time but there are no dump stations or water. Also Tribal Land is available both South and North of the casino. Just like BLM land you need to register at either the Quechan casino or the Paradise casino to stay.

well, it was here or walmart, cause my wife was not comfortable at mittry lake due to a negative experience last year -- the main problem here is the generators, all night long -- having lived for 10 yrs in a primitive rv park(coyote howls, why, az), i never saw anything that created more conflict than generators -- seems you've got your solar folks, and your generator folks -- we're the former.
my favorite thing about this spot is the security, and proximity to algodones -- seems they've pulled the starbucks that was inside, too bad -- i suppose its also a good place to lose some money on the slots -- but overall i think we'll be staying at mittry lake, once more snowbirds are there to create a more secure feeling -- of course, with proximity to other rvs comes generators, atvs, music, etc.

A lot of RVs park here at this casino for multiple days. It was OK. I enjoy eating at Casino Buffets but this casino does not have one. It does have a nice deli / grill where I got a salad to go and that was nice. The parking lot is big and you can do a lot of walking around. There is also a desert area to the west where you can walk a long way with your dog if you wanted. The casino is just up the road from the border crossing to Algodones, Mexico. Lots of folks like to go and park near the board and walk into Algodones to do some cheap shopping and to have dental work done. Prescription drugs are cheap and available in Algodones, so I am told. I don't recall how well Cell worked but I am pretty sure I was able to call home on Verizon.
Just south of the casino lots are open desert areas where lots of RVs where parked and that might be more private.
