We had planned to stay four nights but had to leave after one night due to a family situation. Very nice park and very big. Bathrooms were very clean and wi-fi was better than most places we have been. It is not very close to Quebec City but I understood they have a shuttle for an additional fee.
Ed & Linda would stay here again

BUT Quebec City IS. Amazing city, it's 20 minutes from the campground. Great fromagerie near the campground for Poutine (do it). The premium sites have concrete slabs with tables (maybe all KOA's have this, it's our first KOA). Wish it was grass for the dog. Pool was closed for the season. Nice little bounce thing for the kids. Dog area fenced in. NOISY traffic all day. T-mobile (using Canada's Telus) is pretty fast. Impressed. Lots of light pollution at night. Clean laundry room. FYI- the $50 dollar rate included the LOA membership and exchange rate conversion from US to Canadian $ (currently the dollar is stronger by 20%).

We were looking for a place to camp close to the old city part of Quebec City. However, all the campgrounds were either booked or did not speak any English whatsoever. It is full of the typical KOA commercialism, including a cart that drives by selling wood for $8 for pack (!). However, the people were nice, and spoke excellent English. The day we checked in Walmart was even there handing out free hamburgers and ice cream all day.
If you are not up to driving into the city (which is easy to do) you can ride their bus at prescheduled intervals for $17 per person, which seems steep until you realize that parking in Quebec can cost $18 for three hours and is quite a distance from the walking areas of the town.
The campsite is directly adjacent to Highway 20, so ask for a spot in the back of the campground to minimize noise. P7, where we were, was directly adjacent to the bathrooms and yet still quite quiet.
The teenagers were happy because the wifi was strong enough to stream Netflix, a rarity in our experience.
It is about a 15 minute drive to the touristy areas of Quebec City.

This was my first KOA campground stay in about 20 years. I reserved two nights online a month before the visit. My recommendation would be to call them and reserve over the phone, or do it via email. The KOA system thought I had picked other dates (my email letter said the right dates) so we weren't in their system. If this had been peak season, we may have been in trouble, but luckily it was end of the season and they had plenty of room. They upgraded me to a 50AMP pull through site that had a patio and patio dining furniture. The late season discount was 40% off for all KOA members. Turns out buying the membership at $33 and the discount was cheaper than if I had said no thanks.
Only one person during our October stay knew English so be prepared with some French!
The KOA has clean bathrooms, hot showers, great WIFI, a dog park. We did not use the pool or hot tub (probably closed). More amenities on their website. We did fill up our propane tank for about $23 which they picked up from our site and delivered it back. They were repairing some underground pipes and let us know that the water may be off for 1 hour. KOA is about 20 minutes from downtown Old Quebec. There is a bus that many people use too. It is near highway 20 so you can hear some traffic. I gave it 5 stars because of the amazing fall colors we witnessed, the late season discount, the closeness to Quebec City and the lack of campers which made it all an enjoyable stay!
My phone worked on WIFI (even without an international plan). Our other phone had an international plan and had 4Gs through Verizon.
GinaDog would stay here again
