This is dry camping and you likely cannot get solar charging if you rely on that unless you have portable panels you can use. There are a lot of restrooms available. The roads are tight for larger rigs. Look up the site sizes on the website before you plan. Loop A has the largest sites, B smaller, and each loop decreases in size. Trees are close to the road making the turns and parking RVs challenging. The lake is beautiful, the hike around the lake is nice, groceries, restaurant, showers, and sporting goods within a few minute walk from any site. Lots of kids in peak season. Not open year round.

I’ve been camping here for a number of years and I enjoy the solitude that is at this campground.
A short walk to the lake to boat or fish and just a hop, skip and a jump to a very delightful coffee shop. This place has it all!

Pinecrest is a large tent/car/dry rv campground. Pinecrest lake is a short walk from the campground. Most sites are level. Roads are narrow but manageable for our 20 ft trailer. Very family friendly. A great summer camp spot. Cell data only useable late at night or early morning.

You get a lot of space for yourself, distant from neighbors. That is typical expectation for government owned campground.
However, the road is so tight that any trailer longer than 25’ will have a lot of difficulties in maneuvering in the campground. I spent 40 mins to get to my site and parked my trailer. A lot of driving back and forth to work around the poles and rocks with my 24’ trailer (29’ including tongue)
It might be a perfect campground for smaller RVs and tents, but it is not for bigger trailers.

The drive to Pinecrest was just as beautiful. There’s a little Store, coffee stand and restaurant across the street. The Serene Bean was a warm welcome (pun intended) for those cold mornings.
