Lots of opportunity to catch some events that were there: horse show, Mesa RV show, quilt show, rodeo and more! They have a walking path around the fairgrounds that helps you see what’s going on. We were lucky to get Site 422 which is on the end of a row so it felt like we had a bigger site. ATT was 50 down and 12 up, so we could stream using our hotspot. OTA channels were good too with over 25 to choose from. The office staff was very friendly and helpful as you could pay 1-2 weeks in advance. The only downfall was the wind and it would blow dust everywhere! Also, there are goatheads everywhere, so if you have a pet beware.

You could flick the goatheads off, but the stickers remained in our shoes like pins. They got in our motorhome even though we were very careful. Our dogs wore shoes, but we saw some that could not even walk! There is a race track also on the grounds and racing went on most every night.won’t be back here..ever. The bathrooms were clean.

Noise: Our neighbors were pretty quiet, but there are clearly some early morning workers that use their remote starts between 6-7am including the required door locking beeps and idling engines. As for the drag strip and Nascar track: noise was almost exclusively on the weekends and during the day. However, we did have a couple nights where the Nascar track ran after 10pm and one Saturday morning where the drag strip noise started before 8am. Neither was terrible to us, and generally I found sleeping pretty peaceful.
They have showers, bathrooms, and laundry, but we didn’t use any of these. It was handy to be able to receive packages, and while our Verizon worked very well (without the booster), they offer the best WiFi of any campground we’ve visited.
The one glaring downside to PCF are the goatheads, and they are worse here than anywhere we have been. The camp host warned us on arrival, and he wasn’t kidding. We could not step outside without picking them, and it’s horrible for dogs. While our entire stay here was fine, I would dread coming back here with our dog.
Otherwise, our utilities worked fine, their pricing is reasonable (currently $180 a week, $30 night & they take Good Sams to make it $27), and this is a good spot for picking up the highway to explore Tucson or run to the store.

The $20 a night for dry camping was fair for included dumpstation and use of dumpster. Caution to dog owners there are stickers all over the ground that will get stuck in their paws. It makes walking your dog impossibble. :(

It's a flat barren parking area, dirt and brown crunchy grass. Many other RVs. There is some sort of stickers that fall off the weeds and can get stuck in your shoes, or if you have a dog...it would be a big problem, so watch it. The stickers also transfer easily into the RV.
There is a track close by where it sounded like hotrods were running 1/4 mile races, very loud!! But around 10:00 they quit.
Overall, it's fine for quick camping on a roadtrip. Full hookups were a plus.

It's convenient to the eastern side of Tucson and the daily and weekly rates are considerably cheaper than any of the private RV parks. The wifi has been great and cell coverage excellent. Yes, depending on events going on it can be noisy or more crowded but the price and convience are worth it.

Bathrooms and shower closed, presumably due to covid. Only service open to us was laundry. This was just a gravel parking lot for $20 ( dry camping).

King Kevin, camp host runs the site assignments like a dictator & doesn’t follow covid-19 site spacing for anyone but the A class rigs. NO customer service - whole camp host team needs to be replaced ... they’re tired & bad humored. Besides the noise from rifle range, drag racing, NASCAR is intolerable. Won’t return!

We arrived late and only stayed parked long enough to go see Saguaro National Park. It's about 15-20 minutes away, but most places closer are either 55+ or too expensive. We were there on July 4th and the place probably wasn't even 10% full. There were plenty of spots to chose from.
