Perch Lake Campground is on the shores of Perch Lake, I would say about 30% of the sites are on the lake itself. Those sites generally have a spot where you can beach your boat. The remaining sites are interior, however there is a boat ramp at the campground so you can get out on the lake. The campground is wooded so only a few of the lakefront sites get sunlight for a portion of the day, so don't plan on relying on solar. During our time here in August, the lakefront sites were full most of the time. However the interior sites were generally empty, even on the weekend. Most of the campers were fishermen. That is because there is nothing else to do at the campground. There is no swimming beach nor are there any trails to speak of. If you have watercraft you will find plenty to do. We kayaked all around the lake and really enjoyed it. We did ride our bikes on the backroads, but that wasn't that enjoyable. If you need additional activities Lake St Kathryn and Norway Lake campgrounds are nearby and have beaches and trails.
The sites themselves are mostly large back-in sites, though I did see two pull through sites without lake access. There should be no problems regardless of the size of your RV. While there is some distance between the sites, and mature trees separate the sites, there was not much underbrush to screen sites from one another. You can expect to hear and see your neighbors, including their generators. But that is really par for the course for these types of campgrounds.
Access to the campground from the north is via about 6 miles of gravel/sand roads. No issues with traction, but you will want to go slow. Coming from the south, its a longer drive on gravel roads.
Beerboy would stay here again
