Plenty of hikes close by if you want to drive a few miles there are couple right in the campground area.
Nice creek running on the backside.
No hook ups
Firewood for sale on site
We will definitely be back!

We stayed here over Fourth of July weekend in 2020. The campground was nearly full but the sites are spaced out well so the atmosphere is fairly quiet. There are no hookups, same as all of the campgrounds on the Gifford Pinchot National Forest. Water is available via hand pump, but is cloudy so I would bring my own. The campground is among old growth Douglas-fir and Western Redcedar trees in the bottom of the Wind River valley. Trails lead to the river which is great for cooling off one’s feet after a day hiking in the forest. Some longer trailers and fifth wheels were present in some of the sites; we had a 20-foot long R-Pod at the time and it fit easily in site 37. Our current 30’ trailer would have been tighter to maneuver into the site as the road is narrow. No cell service and the tree canopy limited our ability to use our solar panel. Would definitely recommend for shorter rigs and tent campers.
