$63.90 per day incl tax and no site Wi-Fi! Signal so weak I can’t even detect the campground network with a WIFI RANGER mounted on the RV roof.

Great park to visit New Orleans. The shuttle is so convenient. The service here is top notch. Every single employee we interacted with was courteous, helpful and nice. The spaces are tight but fine. The park does have a lot of standing water if it rains and the road coming in is rough. Laundry machines need attention.

We stayed here before and love the shuttle downtown $6 round trip. Several bathhouses, restaurant and bar, pull through spaces. Passport America makes it affordable nice staff.

We had a great stay here. We had a water front site and enjoyed the views of the lake. For our full review please watch our video on the "blog post" section

Don't be fooled by the drive into this park. You go past abandoned warehouses on junky roads, and it feels like you've been tricked into something bad. But once you show up, all that disappears, and you end up with a charming little park. It is next to the river, so if you can ask for one of the sites next to the river you can get a nice view (and, apparently, possible alligators, although we didn't see any). The park has a nice restaurant that has live music some nights. The best thing, though, in my opinion, is that they have a shuttle bus that will take you to downtown New Orleans, so you can go explore Bourbon Street and all the other wonderful areas of NO without having to worry about parking, driving, or drinking.

Nice Bar / Restaurant. Nightly specials and food not bad! Shuttle to French Quarter for $6. Sites nothing special, gravel and some grass. Our spot was next to the walkway to boathouses. Do not recommend that spot. Must have bread factory near because...man that smell was awesome! Nice fenced dog run. Plenty of different types of places to stay at. RV sites, boathouses, condos, efficiency apartments, tent sites and soon to have tiny houses! also boat launch on site. Not far from French Quarter we dove and had no problem parking. Check maps for parking lots. Visit WW2 museum, very interesting. Crescent City Brewery also. $69 a night but, if there is something happening price jumps to $105 a night. (New Years/Sugar Bowl)

When we were planning the route to get here I noticed that our GPS didn’t agree with Google maps. Google maps was correct. We mentioned it when we checked in and they were aware of it but I didn’t see a warning on their website. As you get off of I-10 you do travel through an industrial area that makes you wonder if you are on the right track as well as wondering if you made a bad call on locations.
Once you get to the RV park it is nice, although dusty. Everything is gravel. During our stay it was maybe about a 1/3 full so traffic in the park was not an issue. We did eat at the onsite restaurant and the food and drinks were good but just typical bar food.
We had a pull through site which was long enough to handle the coach and truck. Overall the services are good except for the water pressure which was not very strong. We used the cable and it worked well.
We drove to town on a couple of the days there and the staff let us know he best places to park which was a great help.
The best sites are 6 – 16 if you want a water view.

We had lunch in the onsite restaurant one day and it was okay, but over priced in our opinion. The grounds seemed to be kept neat and clean. It was also mostly quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful. Gated at night with codes to get in or out. Fairly easy to get downtown by driving, their shuttle, taxi or do what we did, use Uber. This was our first time using it and it's pretty good and beats the heck out of driving and parking downtown or the Quarter. We would stay here again and recommend it.

Dust bowl. If you can not get a site along the water keep on going period. There is a reason they tell you to pay in full at the time of reservation and no refunds unless the insurance is purchased. People would pull in and leave. We came in a 42' motorhome and think we were given the tightest spot in the park. We would not camp here again. MAYBE if we got a water front site, maybe. Way to high priced for what it is. probably the 2nd worst park we have stayed at in the first 2 years we spent fulltime on the road. If they tell you sites 142, 143 or 144 run as fast as you can the other way. Be sure to ask the site number when you make reservations, if those 3 numbers come up DO NOT STAY!!
On the other hand there is a shuttle that will run you downtown which is a plus.

Newly rebuilt since Katrina. Much of the industrial area and nearby residences where still boarded up or worse (2012). New Clubhouse built on stilts that put it into skyscraper category. They had a commuter transport that ran several times a day to the city center.
Nice secure location from which to enjoy New Orleans.
