Overall Rating
A charming and quiet campground, with a beautiful setting and large level sites. Good WiFi. Conveniently located near Linville Falls and Grandfather Mountain. The staff here is friendly and the facilities are very well kept. MRFC was just what we were looking for this week for a relaxing, fall getaway. A hidden gem we’re glad we found.

In June 2018 we happened upon MRFC and fell in love with the serenity of this valley, the sound of the water rushing over the rocks in the Toe River, but mostly the owners and the other campers here. In June 2018 we happened upon MRFC and fell in love with the serenity of this valley, the sound of the water rushing over the rocks in the Toe River, but mostly the owners and the other campers here. We extended our stay and eventually were asked to be Hosts after the former ones moved on. The location to hiking, WNC weekend festivals, and panoramic views is perfect!
If you need WiFi...MRFC is the place and included in the price!
Here we are again...just returned from our Texas home to stay a second season!
