“TERRIBLE, STAY AWAY! RIDICULOUS CHARGES!!”

I can't say enough on how terrible this park really is. After paying $50/night for a camp site, they charged us $20/day for a towed car for a day use fee. Had to pay for 8 days ($160) just for the car on a 7 night stay. And they now allow pets - but charge $10/day/pet. For an overnight stay with a towed car and 2 dogs it would be $13... more
I can't say enough on how terrible this park really is. After paying $50/night for a camp site, they charged us $20/day for a towed car for a day use fee. Had to pay for 8 days ($160) just for the car on a 7 night stay. And they now allow pets - but charge $10/day/pet. For an overnight stay with a towed car and 2 dogs it would be $130, for a weekend $220!! This is beyond ridiculous, it is grotesque. Stay at a private campground closer to Yosemite (it is a 1 1/2 hour drive to Yosemite Village). Campground is average. Road in is narrow and twisty and the pavement drops off 8-10 inches at the berm. Bathrooms and showers are dirty and old. Oh and the campground electricity didn't work the day we got there, or the day we left, it did work the other 5 days we were there. Back-in sites are un-level going up and down the hill. Pull throughs going across the hill are fairly level. Our site A-10 was pretty level at the crest of the semi-circle. Only 3 other campers here at the end of September, probably because of the ridiculous fees. Then the flies, they are everywhere. 2 or 3 enter the RV every time you open the door. Spent hours trying to swat them. You can't see the lake from any camp site. There was a big black bear that raided the garbage bin every morning at 5, 75 feet from our RV. Woke us up ever morning at 5 AM. Most mornings, garbage was scattered around the garbage bins. People coming in after dark couldn't find their site, no markings on most sites, some have number painted on pavement.
Overall: STAY AWAY!!!!! Not worth the cost. If you do come here, make sure you know where your site is, office has no maps and the most sites are not marked.
AT&T cell service was good, 3 bars of 5G, streamed with the Weboost. No HDTV channels.

“Friendly Staff, Roomy Sites, Shade”

We stayed on July 23, so it was plenty hot. There were nice shade trees though. This is on a big lake called Din Pedro that many people boat on. The staff were exceptionally kind and friendly. I gave it a 4 star because the bathrooms needed to be cleaned better.

Great location. Close to the lake and sites are spacious and had full hookups. Difficult to level and the sites terrain was difficult. I don’t think there was a flat spot in our site at all.

NO PETS!!!! Did I say that loud enough? Because that's how loud and big the sign on the entry gate is. Once you get to it. Even though you have to *really dig hard* into the deepest depths of their Rules & Regulations to find anything that states it on their website. So, since I don't want future campers to make the drive for naught like we did, I thought I'd make it as clear as possible.
That being said, I can't accurately rate the place, because once we got there, we found out that we weren't allowed to stay.
There is also dispersed camping around the lake, which (to the best of my research ability—this place makes it hard to find info!) does allow pets, and is $8/n + entrance fees. We moved on though, because it was already late, and there are lots of restricted areas (drawn onto a very poorly detailed cartoon-style map), we were afraid we wouldn't find a place before it got dark. But have fun navigating the dozen or so website pages and downloadable documents you need to get all the info to make it possible! (Looked like a relatively pretty place to stay, though…)

On a gorgeous lake. I would guess it’s really packed in the summer but in early November it is just perfect!
