The main road in is in good condition. There were a few areas for bigger rigs along it, and if you take the last dirt road to the right before the water, it looked like there were a bunch of spots big enough for more big rigs (too muddy when we scouted to go closer). If you're anything larger than a van, though, DO NOT follow the road down to the water. At the bottom, there are signs stating 'no motorized vehicles,' and even if you wanted to ignore the signs and continue, the two roads that loops back up away from the water are essentially impassable. There's some space for small vehicles to turn around, but a bigger rig would struggle. Stay up top.
On satellite view, there appeared to be spaces for big rigs if you turned right down the first dirt road you come to. It was a very, very rough road, though. We take our rig to a lot of rough places, but I don't think I would have tried this one even in dry conditions. Walk it before you attempt to drive it.

Tons of nats and other bugs. Lots of wildlife. Would be a great place for bird watching.
Good for short term but not a bucket list item.
My images are morning sunrise but don’t be fooled.

Good signal with Verizon. No tv signal if you are on an antenna though.

We stayed here for 5 nights and had no issues in our 40' 5th wheel. Lots of space and a small trail to play on in your 4wd. Simply can't beat the view. It’s chilly here on March 31st, but the views are outstanding! There aren’t a ton of flat spots here and there are zero services.

It can get bad with bugs. I stayed here in early April last year, even had a snow. But I do remember bugs being around at some point. I stayed there twice last year.
The trash is incredible and sad. I picked up multiple trash bags day after day. Some Canadians who stayed also picked up THREE large (kitchen sized) trash bags. The locals come down to fish and do whatever else they do here and they JUST don't care. I don't understand, never will.
Oh well. There's not a ton of area to park. There are also signs letting you know where you can't park. People seem to not pay much attention. I did witness some law enforcement get a guy to move who was clearly parked in the 'don't park' area AND it was clearly not even a spot where someone had camped before. I was really happy to see them get busted.
I did hear that Utah is trying to buy the surrounding land from the LDS that owns it so there can be more parking and recreational land there which is awesome. I hope they are successful.
I did not record how the internet was. However, I have to be able to use ATT or Verizon, so I must have had success.
Maybe the other reviewers reported on this better than I did.
It's an interesting spot. It's a place to park for free with pretty views, but it's a good hour from SLC. Sure there's plenty of amenities nearish in Saratoga Springs (Wal Mart and such). So there's that!

This was a great area other then the broken glass pretty much everywhere. It was cold but we had great views of the night sky and the city on the other side of the lake. This is just close enough to town to make it convenient without being in the town.

It's obvious people come here to party and just trash the area. The lake is nice but can actually be dangerous at certain times of year due to huge algea blooms that can make you sick. It's gross.. It was pretty windy a couple of nights. Not many other people around! About fifteen minutes north to the nearest gas station, but it didn't have dump or water, I don't think.

We arrived on May 31st 2018 with the rain storm coming in and strong winds. We found that some of the sites that people previously stayed at work closed off to motorized vehicles. Our 29 foot class C RV made it along the gravel roads easily. We were closer to neighbors than expected since most of the sites near the water were closed off to motorize vehicles. The following morning we woke up to chirping of beautiful yellow headed birds with a unique chirp. Quite interesting wake up call but very nice. The weather was perfect the following day and we took our Jeep off-roadIng to the top of the hill where we posted some pictures. We highly recommend this location for RVs, travel trailers and tents.

As described in previous feedback, it gets a bit windy at times. Not much trash when we got here.
But the views across the lake at night are great.
Thanks Utah.
