“Great quiet spot”

Overall Rating

Just a quiet no frills spot off a forest parking area. We stayed a week to shake out a new trailer.

This place is just off the Appalachian Trail, so there is lots of trails to explore. In Pine Grove (short distance) there is the Appalachian Trail Museum, Pine Grove Furnace, Pine Grove General Store, and a few spots to get drinking water.

Most trails leaving the camping area appear to be ATV and horse trails but we didn't see any ATV's or horses during our stay.

You should make reservations through the web site ($10 PA residence $15 out of state)
pit toilets - no hookups - NO Verizon - Starlink was fine (open view of the sky)

If you are traveling through this area of Pittsburg and need even just one night or a few of rest and relaxation this place is amazing!
Obviously well used and meticulously taken care of by the locals!!
Very clean.
And absolutely beautiful and full of all kinds of trails to explore and return to a laid back but respectful camp area!!
Thankful to have passed through!
