We stayed for two nights, we stayed site 12 and 25, site 1-22 are in woods, have shade, site 23-25 are no shade. This is a very nice campground for summer fun, it was full by weekend and almost empty since Sunday night. Will definitely come back.

We stayed here around July 24. The campground was packed since it was Saturday night. Very smoky with close wildfires.
But Roosevelt Lake reservoir is worth it. We put the canoe at the dock after purchasing the launch permit. Each specific Washington region charges for launching. Even a canoe not using the ramp is subject to this charge.
So we paddled about half a mile up and down stream. Very beautiful shoreline. The water was clear and cool. But not cold. The weather was hot. We picked a time with little breeze.
Lots of fishermen. But not crowded at all. This is one big lake. It’s about 150 miles long.
Sunday morning arrived and over half the campers had left. Guess they didn’t like the smoke.
Narrow single lane paved road with turnouts to the island. Just keep your head; folks are careful. Paved access and level campsites. Shady pines that have been touched by wildfire.
Dry camping. Pit toilets and trash dumpsters on site. No water, power, or sewer. Dump sites may exist in Colville. But the lake is beautiful and huge.
Colville is close and has all the supplies required. A cute little store in Kettle Falls gave us a nostalgic time.
We had three bars and LTE from Verizon. We had no trouble calling, buying the launch permit, and texting. Which is all we needed.
Our spot was a bit tight for our rig. But it worked. And since all sites are reserved, we couldn’t upgrade even if folks left days early.
Very nice. We’ll be back.

We were there after the Labor Day weekend so was very quiet. Only 3 people in the campground. We stayed right on the river (Lake Roosevelt). No fires allowed at this time (Dry) and a lot of fires burning in the area. (Smokey).

This campground and especially our site did not disappoint. Waterfront!
Entering the park there are two hairpin turns. We had no troubles with our truck and 30' trailer. Also, part of the entrance roads are one lane - several pull offs to avoid oncoming traffic.
Roads in the park are paved, trash dumpsters and pit toilets. Supposed to be fresh water and dump 3 miles up the road in Evans.
